Sam Pitroda, the head of the Congress Overseas Department, has once again sparked controversy with his statements. In a video, Pitroda stated that he feels a sense of familiarity in Pakistan, akin to being at home. He made these remarks amidst the backdrop of strained relations between India and Pakistan.

Pitroda proposed that India should initiate dialogue with Pakistan to mend relations. This suggestion was made despite India’s current policy of avoiding communication with Pakistan, particularly after Operation Sindoor.

Furthermore, Pitroda also touched upon Nepal and Bangladesh, stressing the importance of fostering better relations with these nations. He asserted that effective foreign policy hinges on having positive relationships with neighboring countries.

He also queried the government on the current state of India’s relations with Nepal and Bangladesh, implying that there might be challenges in this regard.
