Beijing, January 28 – In a significant push towards transparent administration, Chinese Premier Li Qiang chaired the fourth meeting of the State Council focused on clean governance. The gathering underscored the nation’s unwavering commitment to rooting out corruption and upholding socialist principles under President Xi Jinping’s leadership.

Premier Li Qiang emphasized the critical need to adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He called for a deep study and implementation of the spirit from Xi’s key speech at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. This directive aims to fortify the Communist Party of China’s (CPC) comprehensive strict governance.

‘We must advance the strategic plan with high standards and concrete measures,’ Li stated. The focus is on building an honest government and relentlessly combating corruption. This effort is designed to provide a robust guarantee for achieving the goals and tasks of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

Li urged governments and CPC organizations at all levels to firmly implement their political responsibilities. They must truly understand, shoulder, and fulfill their duties in promoting strict governance. This meeting signals a renewed vigor in China’s anti-corruption campaign, ensuring accountability permeates every layer of administration.

As China navigates economic challenges and global tensions, such initiatives reinforce the party’s dedication to clean and efficient governance. Observers note that these measures could enhance public trust and streamline policy execution across the nation.
