CBI took Chintu and Mukesh on remand, questioned the principal for 2 hours
The CBI team reached Patna’s Beur jail on Thursday at 1 pm. Here the accused Baldev Kumar alias Chintu and Mukesh Kumar were medically examined and taken on 8-day remand. It is being told that the team will take both of them to different locations and interrogate them. CBI presented Chintu and Mukesh in the court on June 26. After this, both were given 8-day remand. Chintu is a relative of Sanjeev Mukhiya, the mastermind of NEET paper leak. It is claimed that the paper came on Chintu’s mobile, while Mukesh took the candidates in the car to the school where the answers to the questions were made to be memorized.

Hearing in Supreme Court on July 8 The CBI Delhi team is now investigating the NEET paper leak case. CBI has registered a case in Delhi itself. Meanwhile, Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) in Patna has handed over the investigation report, case diary and evidence to CBI. If sources in the Police Headquarters are to be believed, the investigation report clearly states that the NEET UG question paper has been leaked. The petition filed in the NEET question paper leak case is to be heard in the Supreme Court on July 8. EOU officials will also be present in this hearing on July 8, because the Supreme Court has issued a notice to EOU to remain present on July 8.
