Russia’s FMBA has revealed a cancer vaccine, currently in the final stages of preparation. The vaccine, aimed at treating colorectal cancer, has displayed high efficacy and safety in preclinical trials. The announcement was made by Veronika Skvortsova during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). Studies indicated a reduction in tumor size and increased survival rates. The agency is awaiting official approval to begin using the vaccine. The development of vaccines for glioblastoma and specific types of melanoma, including ocular melanoma, is also progressing.
