BREAKING NEWS: K Kavita got a shock in Delhi Liquor Scam, sent to CBI custody till April 15

New Delhi. K Kavita has suffered a major setback in the Delhi Liquor Scam. Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leader K Kavita has been sent to CBI custody till April 15 by the Rouse Avenue Court. While hearing the case on Friday morning, the court K. Kavita’s decision was reserved till the evening. However, the court ruled to keep him in custody only for three days. Whereas CBI had requested for five days custody.

Let us tell you that Kavita was in judicial custody since March 26 in the money laundering case. On April 11, the agency Kavita was arrested in Tihar Jail. On getting remand, Kavita will be taken to CBI Headquarters, where she will be interrogated. Earlier, CBI had interrogated Kavita in Tihar on 6 April.

Kavita was detained by the CBI under charges of criminal conspiracy and manipulation of accounts and some sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. CBI had demanded 5 days remand of BRS leader from the court. During the hearing in the court, the CBI lawyer said that K Kavita played a big role in arranging the bribe of Rs 100 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party. He is one of the main conspirators. A big businessman met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the CM assured him of support through excise policy. Statements of many accused related to this case have been recorded. The lawyer said that the meeting was held at Hotel Taj.
