Blasphemy case registered in opposition to ex-Pakistan PM Imran Khan, minister says he’s going to be arrested

A blasphemy case has been registered in opposition to former Pakistan top minister Imran Khan in Faisalabad after Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif was once allegedly hounded via his supporters in Saudi Arabia’s Madina ultimate Thursday.

A blasphemy case has been registered in opposition to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan and others in Faisalabad after Pakistan High Minister Shehbaz Sharif was once allegedly hounded via the previous PM’s supporters in Saudi Arabia’s Madina ultimate Thursday.

Pakistan’s Internal Minister Rana Sanaullah has vowed that Imran Khan can be arrested in a case associated with “hooliganism and sloganeering in opposition to PM Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation visiting Madina”, as according to media experiences.

Former internal minister Sheikh Rashid and Imran Khan’s leader of group of workers Shahbaz Gill, excluding others, had been named as accused within the case.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In video clips that emerged on social media, pilgrims – allegedly supporter of Imran Khan – shouted ‘chor’ (thief) and ‘gaddar’ (traitor) once Shehbaz Sharif and different individuals of his delegation arrived on the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina ultimate Thursday.

The Pakistani pilgrims additionally allegedly used abusive language in opposition to the delegation. The Madina police have claimed that 5 Pakistanis concerned within the sloganeering had been arrested.

In the meantime, in a TV interview on Saturday, Imran Khan distanced himself from the pilgrims and mentioned he may just “no longer even believe asking any individual to hold out sloganeering on the sacred position.”
