An intense gun battle in Barkhan district, Balochistan, claimed the lives of four Baloch fighters, who clashed with a ‘state-backed’ armed group. The incident unfolded in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil, with residents reporting the use of heavy weaponry. The four individuals killed in the confrontation have been identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Concurrent with this, Pakistani forces launched a military operation in the Spilinji area of Mastung district, resulting in further fighting and reported casualties. The ongoing violence underscores the escalating conflict between Baloch nationalist groups and state forces in Balochistan.
