Barkhan Gunfight Claims Lives of Four Baloch Fighters; Military Operation in Mastung Intensifies Tensions

A gun battle in the Barkhan region of Balochistan resulted in the deaths of four Baloch fighters. The clash, which took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil, involved a ‘state-backed’ armed group. Residents reported the use of heavy weapons during the hours-long exchange. The deceased were identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib, and their remains were taken to a hospital in Rakni. Separately, a military operation by Pakistani forces in the Spilinji area of Mastung district led to intense fighting, with reports of heavy gunfire and explosions.
