CID has arrested a butcher in the case of murder of Bangladeshi MP. He had taken the body to the slaughterhouse and cut it into pieces after killing Anwarul Azim. According to Kolkata Police, he had come to Kolkata from Mumbai only two months before the murder. According to CID, the accused is a suspected illegal immigrant who hails from Bangladesh.

The arrested suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Jihad Havildar, a resident of Khulna, Bangladesh. The mastermind behind the murder of MP Anwarul Azim is Akhtaruzzaman, an American citizen of Bangladeshi origin. Akhtaruzzaman had called him to Kolkata from Mumbai two months ago.

The accused butcher has said that on Akhtaruzzaman’s orders, he and four other Bangladeshi citizens first strangled MP Anwarul Azim to death. The entire crime was committed in a flat in Kolkata. Jihad Havildar has said that after the murder, the Bangladeshi MP’s entire body was skinned and all the flesh was removed. Finally, the flesh was cut into small pieces to erase his identity.

Packed in poly packs and dumped in different parts of Kolkata
The butcher said that small pieces of meat were filled in a poly pack and the bones were also cut into small pieces. All these were packed properly in small poly packs. After committing the murder, the accused picked up these poly packs and traveled sometimes by train and sometimes by bus to different parts of Kolkata and threw them there. The accused butcher will now be taken to court and then the body parts will be recovered.
