Israel’s Prime Minister has put forth a new plan for eradicating Hamas, which includes the complete occupation of Gaza. This proposal has been sanctioned by the Israeli cabinet, yet it faces international condemnation. Critics express concern that Netanyahu’s plan could intensify the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Israeli forces have already established control over a significant part of Gaza. The remaining area, which is densely populated with displaced Palestinians, is thought to be the location of Hamas’s last stronghold, Al-Mawasi, according to Israel. Netanyahu has discussed the potential capture of this area during a phone call with Donald Trump.
