American Train Tragedy: Ukrainian Woman Killed in Knife Attack

In a tragic incident, a 23-year-old Ukrainian woman lost her life in a knife attack on a train in the United States. The victim, Iryna Zaruutsk, was aboard the Lynx Blue Line in Charlotte when the assault occurred. The attack was caught on surveillance footage. The perpetrator, Decarlos Brown Jr., approached Zaruutsk and stabbed her. After the attack, Zaruutsk collapsed, and was later pronounced dead. Brown Jr. fled the scene but was apprehended by the police. The police found the weapon used in the attack at the next station. Brown Jr. has a history of criminal activity.
