The Special Cell of the Delhi Police, in cooperation with security agencies, has brought the notorious arms supplier, Sheikh Salim (alias Salim Pistol), back to India. He was arrested in Nepal on August 9. Sources indicate that he is currently detained at the Special Cell’s headquarters in Delhi. Salim had been evading authorities since 2018. He is known for facilitating the supply of Turkish-made ZIGANA pistols to Indian gangsters. He has a long history of smuggling modern weaponry from Pakistan to supply criminal networks. Despite an earlier arrest by the Delhi Police in 2018, he escaped the country after being granted bail.
