The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has submitted a list of about 5000 Pakistani citizens residing in Delhi to Delhi Police to ensure their return. This list has been submitted by the FRRO to the Special Branch of Delhi Police and for further identity and verification, it has also been shared with the respective districts. The police has now started the verification process.

This list includes the names of Hindu Pakistani citizens who have long term visas and who have been exempted. This list has been sent to the concerned district for verification, and Pakistani citizens have been asked to return to their country. Notice issued for Pakistani citizens
The central government has issued a notice for Pakistani citizens on Sunday evening, stating that if a Pakistani citizen does not leave India within the stipulated time, he will be arrested and legal action will be taken against him. A senior official has informed that a meeting has been held in the context of this case, in which Delhi Police has been instructed to take prompt action. The officials of the Special Branch and Intelligence Bureau of Delhi Police have been given the task of gathering information of Pakistani citizens residing in Delhi and asking them to leave India soon.

The Government of India on Thursday announced that all visas issued to Pakistani citizens will be canceled from 27 April, and they have been instructed to leave the country.
