On Saturday, 10 other folks fleeing the commercial disaster within the island country reached Tamil Nadu’s Dhanushkodi illegally. Then again, they have been later detained via the marine police.

3 households from other portions of Sri Lanka got here to Dhanushkodi. One of the vital households even has a three-month-old child with them.

The folks reached Dhanushkodi at round 1 am. On getting details about them, the Rameswaram Marine Police rescued the Sri Lankan Tamils ​​and taken them to Rameswaram Marine Police Station for investigation. After the investigation, they are going to be passed over to the Mandapam refugee camp.

Since March 22, as many as 198 Sri Lankans have come as refugees to India by the use of Dhanushkodi.
