Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The health of 253 school students suddenly deteriorated after eating biscuits in mid-day meal in a government school in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra. Out of these, the condition of 9 students is critical, who have been shifted to another hospital for treatment. After eating biscuits, the students started having stomach ache, vomiting and fever, due to which the situation became critical.
This incident is from the Zilla Parishad School located in Kekat Jalgaon of Paithan taluka of the district, where biscuits were distributed to the children in the school on Saturday. After eating the biscuits, the students faced health problems, including fever and vomiting. After the health of the students continuously deteriorated, it has come to light that the biscuits given in the mid-day meal were bad, due to which the health of the children deteriorated.
The students in more critical condition were admitted to the rural hospital in Pachod. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, 9 students were shifted to the government hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar through two ambulances. Their treatment is going on there and the condition of some students is still said to be critical.
