The smartphone market sees the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, a marvel of design featuring premium specs and advanced camera technology, encased in an exceptionally slim 5.84mm chassis. Upon its release, the device was immediately hailed as a market disruptor. Apple has now introduced the iPhone Air, competing in the ultra-thin smartphone category. The iPhone Air features a 6.5-inch display with narrow bezels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a brightness of up to 3,000 nits, ideal for outdoor use. The phone has a titanium frame for durability, and Ceramic Shield 2 protects the front from scratches. The rear camera system includes a 48MP main camera with options for full-resolution or 24MP output, along with a 2x telephoto capability. The front-facing 18MP Center Stage camera adjusts framing dynamically for group selfies and allows switching between portrait and landscape modes without needing to move the phone. The A19 Pro chip powers the phone, enabling fast performance for gaming, photo and video editing, and Apple Intelligence features. The battery is expected to offer all-day usage, with Apple claiming up to 27 hours of video playback. Fast charging can achieve a 50% charge in approximately half an hour. The Galaxy S25 Edge presents select features from the S25 series in a sleek 5.84mm design. The Edge is equipped with a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X display with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. Its camera setup features a 200MP f/1.7 aperture (wide), 1/1.56” sensor with PDAF and OIS, and a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide PDAF front-facing camera. The phone includes a 3900mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
