The tech giant, Microsoft, has directed its H1-B and H4 visa-holding employees to return to America by September 21st. This decision is a consequence of U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest visa order. Trump’s order mandates that H1-B visa holders must pay a supplementary fee of $100,000 (around 88 lakh rupees). The aim is to bring in high-skilled workers for high-skilled jobs in America, but with added regulations to stop misuse. The new rule will be applied on those applicants that do not have a supplementary fee of $100,000.
