Snapchat is changing its storage policy, introducing charges for users who exceed 5GB of storage in the Memories feature. Initially, Snapchat provided free storage for user-generated content, however, users will now be prompted to subscribe once they surpass the 5GB limit. New storage plans are available, including options for 100GB and 250GB, accessible via a Snapchat+ monthly subscription. A Platinum plan provides a substantial 5TB of storage. Snapchat aims to ensure long-term storage capabilities for its users. Those exceeding the free storage capacity will have a 12-month window to either download their content or subscribe.
The different plans are:
100GB storage: $1.99 monthly
Snapchat+ with 250GB storage: $3.99 monthly

Open Snapchat.
Go to Memories.
Select the Snaps.
Tap Export.
Choose where to save the Snaps.
