The upcoming SEMICON India 2025 event has generated considerable excitement across the country. Chris Ripley, CEO of Sinclair, highlighted India’s leading position in the world concerning wireless technologies and semiconductor design. He expressed his belief that the expertise available in India is unmatched. Sinclair has made significant investments in India to create next-generation wireless technologies. One example is a tablet powered by an Indian-designed D2M chip. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the three-day ‘Semicon India-2025’ event in New Delhi, aiming to bolster India’s semiconductor ecosystem. The event will include representatives from 48 countries, over 2500 delegates, and over 350 exhibitors. It aims to showcase the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme, development of the startup ecosystem, international collaborations, and the future roadmap for India’s semiconductor sector.
