    The indigenous AI and Big Data analytics tool, ASTR, is playing a key role in the fight against cyber fraud. The Telecom Department has taken action by disconnecting over 8.2 million mobile connections that were found to be registered under multiple names belonging to a single person. The Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development, Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, shared this information in a written response to the Rajya Sabha, highlighting the tool’s success.
