New Delhi buzzed with innovation as the India AI Impact Summit 2026 unfolded, drawing global experts to showcase artificial intelligence’s transformative power. From agriculture to healthcare, speakers highlighted AI’s potential to reshape industries.

Swiss Confederation President Guy Parmelin graced the event, praising the Indian government’s vision. ‘AI isn’t just about speed or new tech,’ he emphasized. ‘It holds the capacity for profound societal change.’ His words set the tone for discussions on ethical AI deployment.

Agriculture took center stage with AgreenCulture CEO Christoph Obe unveiling their AI-powered driverless tractor. Speaking exclusively, Obe detailed how the machine uses four strategic cameras to detect obstacles, monitor crops, and assess soil needs. ‘Safety is paramount,’ he stressed. The rear camera ensures equipment functions flawlessly, allowing remote farmer oversight.

This tech promises to revolutionize Indian farming. Obe announced partnerships via ‘Tractors Service’ in Maharashtra, followed by Punjab and Karnataka. ‘India’s vast agricultural landscape is ripe for AI solutions,’ he noted, eyeing massive scalability.

Oriol Networks Co-founder and CEO James Reagan introduced a breakthrough: linking numerous GPUs via light for faster computing with lower energy use. ‘India’s AI enthusiasm is infectious,’ Reagan said, predicting the nation’s rise as a global leader.

In healthcare, WHO’s Director of Data, Digital Health, Analytics, and AI, Ellen Labrique, positioned AI as a ‘game changer.’ Dispelling fears of job losses, she clarified, ‘AI augments human intelligence.’ It excels at spotting anomalies in X-rays or MRIs, prioritizing critical cases and empowering doctors.

Cyprus Republic’s Chief Scientist Demetrios Skourides lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, calling the summit a milestone for global AI progress. As the event concluded, optimism reigned, with India poised at the forefront of AI-driven futures.
