New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam is witnessing history at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, where online engagement has shattered previous benchmarks. In a press briefing, MeitY Secretary Abhishek Singh revealed that the summit’s sessions are not just captivating live audiences but are also drawing massive crowds on YouTube.
Over four days, 115 sessions have gone live simultaneously, with peaks of 21 concurrent streams. YouTube analytics show over 457,000 total views and more than 80,000 viewer hours logged. On average, 18,000 users tune in every hour, connecting from across the globe. This surge underscores the summit’s mission to democratize AI knowledge.
MeitY Secretary S. Krishnan detailed the schedule for February 18 and 19. On the 18th, the expo area opens at 9:30 AM and runs until 8 PM, while convention center sessions wrap up by 4:30 PM, with the last one ending at 5:30 PM. Post that, the convention area clears for a 6:30 PM summit dinner attended by the Prime Minister and key speakers. Visitors can only access the expo after 4:30 PM.
February 19 kicks off with the inaugural session in the morning, delaying expo entry until 11 AM. Public access to the convention center remains restricted for security and the main event, but live broadcasts will beam key speeches to expo attendees.
Delhi Police Special CP Manish Kumar Agarwal emphasized that expo entrants cannot proceed to the convention center. Traffic CP Dinesh Kumar Gupta outlined smooth vehicle movement in Mandapam, Asaf Ali Road, and core zones, advising hotel shuttles to use alternate routes. Evening dispersal will reverse flows, primarily via Dharma Marg.
Officials stressed balancing security and convenience, urging media to disseminate updates for better crowd and traffic management. The summit has seen robust attendance both online and offline, amplifying global AI discourse.
