A recent leak suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max might incorporate a vapor chamber cooling system, a feature currently present in Android devices, like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. This possible design change is generating excitement, as it could represent a major advancement in how Apple manages heat. The A19 Pro chip within the phone, when pushed, will likely benefit from the innovative thermal solution, potentially eliminating performance drops associated with overheating. The vapor chamber technology utilizes a sealed metal container containing a liquid that evaporates when heated, allowing heat to spread, before cooling and reverting to liquid. Other rumored specs for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max include a 24MP front camera, advanced rear camera setup with three 48MP lenses, 8K video recording, slimmer bezels, 120Hz ProMotion displays, and a new aluminum frame. The launch of the iPhone 17 series is slated for September 2025, with the price for the Pro Max variant anticipated to surpass ₹1,59,999 in India.
