    Stricter action will be taken against companies involved in money games under the provisions of the bill, primarily enforced by state governments. Companies offering online money gaming services in violation of the bill face a penalty of ₹1 crore, imprisonment for three years, or both. Advertisers could face imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of up to ₹50 lakh, or both. The government has been making efforts for the last three and a half years.
