Canva has launched “Create a Video Clip,” a new AI video feature that utilizes Google’s Veo 3 model. This tool allows users to generate 8-second cinematic video clips with synchronized audio, all from a text prompt. This integration enhances Canva’s AI offerings by facilitating the production of high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media and presentations. The feature is available to Canva’s paid and nonprofit users, with a starting allowance of five generations per month, and is also accessible to Leonardo.Ai subscribers. This marks one of the first public integrations of Veo 3 since Google unveiled the model at I/O 2025. The tool incorporates a voice-enabled conversational flow, using Veo 3 to create video and synchronized sound, including cinematic visuals and seamless transitions, with audio precisely matching the video’s movements. Users can simply enter a description, and the platform automatically generates the video, which can then be further edited using Canva’s video editor.
