Apple is gearing up for a significant event in October 2025, following its annual iPhone launch in September. The upcoming event is expected to unveil a range of new products, including the iPad Pro with an M5 chip, an updated Vision Pro, a new Apple TV, a HomePod Mini, and an upgraded AirTag. Details about the MacBook Pro M5 are also circulating.
Apple’s history with October events shows a varied approach. There were launch events in 2021 and 2023, whereas 2022 and 2024 saw product updates released via press releases. In 2021, Apple introduced the MacBook Pro (M1 Pro and M1 Max chips), AirPods 3, and HomePod Mini colors. The Scary Fast event in 2023 showcased the MacBook Pro and iMac with the M3 chip.
According to reports, the iPad Pro M5 is a highly anticipated product, potentially including a dual front camera setup to support both portrait and landscape orientations. The updated Vision Pro could feature the M4 or M5 chip, a new head strap design, and a Space Black finish.
The new Apple TV model might be equipped with an A17 Pro or N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7 and Apple Intelligence. The HomePod Mini might see improvements in sound, a new S-series chip, and Ultra Wideband 2.0 technology. The upgraded AirTag could have an extended tracking range, increased durability, and improved battery alerts.
While the MacBook Pro M5 is in production, it is likely to be released in January 2026, according to several reports. Apple is also developing Macs with OLED displays and slimmer designs. The possibility of a low-cost MacBook and the next-generation Studio Display are also under consideration for late 2025 or early 2026.
