In a move to bolster its presence in India, Apple has leased a significant office space in Mumbai. The company has secured a 37,549 square-foot space within the Maker Maxity complex in the BKC area. This lease is for 55 months and includes a provision for a 4% annual rent increase. Apple has deposited a security deposit of ₹22.76 crore as part of the agreement. The new lease, which covers the 10th floor and terrace, will commence on January 1, 2026, while the renewal of existing units will take effect from June 2026. This expansion follows the opening of retail stores and growing manufacturing operations throughout India.
