  • Ending of exemptions in the provision of e-way bill will curb bogus and raw billing

Raipur. The Commercial Tax (GST) department has abolished the exemption given in the provisions of e-way bill in the state. The government has issued a notification on May 24 itself. It will now be necessary for businessmen in the state to generate e-way bill for transporting goods worth more than 50 thousand rupees. Till now it was not necessary to issue e-way bill for transporting goods within a district in the state. Also, e-way bill was not required for transporting any goods within the state except 15 goods.

Exemption from the provisions of e-way bill was given in the year 2018 because these provisions were new and it was necessary to give time to businessmen/transporters to become well acquainted with these provisions. It has been 6 years now since the provisions of e-way bill were implemented across the country and everyone has become well acquainted with it. It is worth mentioning here that except for one or two states, e-way bill is mandatory for transportation of goods within the state in most of the states of the country. The Central Tax Department has also agreed to end the exemption from e-way bill.

The exemption given in issuing e-way bill has been most misused by those doing circular trading and issuing bogus bills, therefore the most benefit of abolishing this exemption will be to those businessmen who pay their taxes honestly, but due to circular trading or issuing bogus bills, they do not get the benefit of ITC. Implementation of the provisions of e-way bill will help the department in stopping circular trading and bogus billing. Abolition of the exemption given in the provisions of e-way bill will have a positive impact on the environment of tax compliance in the state. This will curb the tendencies of issuing bogus bills, issuing raw bills and evading taxes.

If there is any real power in democracy, it is the public.

Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP is trying to change the constitution by giving the slogan of crossing 400. Roti, Kapda and Makaan have to be saved first. The people are going to change those who have come out to change the constitution. The double engine government started emitting smoke by the time it reached Kushinagar. The farmers here have changed the government from time to time. Farmers are being hit by inflation. Seeds, fertilizers and pesticides have also become very expensive. The government is not giving the fair price for the farmers’ crops. We will give the fair price for the farmers’ produce. If the government is formed in Delhi, we will set up a new sugar mill.

The SP chief said that the government leaked the papers of all the exams that were held during the BJP government. By leaking the papers, the government ruined one-third of the life of the youth. If our government is formed on 4 June, we will end Agniveer and provide permanent jobs. The BJP has cheated everyone and benefited its own people. The BJP government has stolen 5 and 10 kg of fertilizer from every sack. Those who sold nano urea have fled the country. Choose the government for your and your children’s future. The coalition government is getting support everywhere. By organizing big programs and getting signatures from industrialists, today they have cheated them too. Those who gave the slogan of crossing 400 are going to lose 400.

He said that ever since the alliance gave the slogan of PDA, NDA has become very nervous. We are giving guarantee of MSP. As soon as the government changed, BJP stopped all the schemes. 1 lakh rupees will be given in the accounts of mothers and sisters. We will increase the quantity of ration to the poor after June 4 and will give them nutritious ration. We will give packet flour and data for free. You people help and make Pintu Singh win from Kushinagar. This government will sell the airport which has been inaugurated. You people be alert because the airport of Kushinagar will also be sold. These BJP people have outsourced government jobs. Pintu Singh’s father spent his entire life serving the society, so you people should support him by voting for him.
