  • Chhattisgarh State Open School’s big decision, exams will be conducted thrice a year, know when you can take admission now

    Satya Rajput, Raipur. The main/opportunity examinations of high school and higher secondary conducted by Chhattisgarh State Open School will be conducted thrice a year. The first examination will be conducted in April, the second examination in August and the third examination in November. Like the first examination held in April, candidates of general, credit, R.T.D and opportunity can appear in the second and third examinations as per the rules.

    State Open School officials said that the last date for admission with normal fee for the second examination to be held in August 2024 has been fixed till June 30, 2024 and with late fee from July 1 to July 5, 2024.

    Similarly, for the third examination to be held in November 2024, the last date for admission has been fixed from 1 September 2024 to 5 October 2024 with normal fee and from 6 October 2024 to 10 October 2024 with late fee. It is worth noting that keeping in mind the need for alternative education system in the state, the state government had established Chhattisgarh State Open School in the year 2008.

When he did not come out of the room for a long time, his son Jigar went to call him. When he did not get a response even after calling him several times, he peeped through the window. He screamed after seeing his father hanging from the noose inside. On receiving the information, the police also reached the spot. The body was taken out by breaking the door.

I wrote to the police station that the woman for whom I am giving my life, do not leave her.’

  • Agriculture Minister Netam reviewed the preparations for farming, told the officers – availability of quality fertilizers and seeds to farmers should be ensured

    Raipur. Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam today held a meeting of top officials of agriculture and related departments at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan and thoroughly reviewed the preparations for Kharif 2024-25. Minister Netam directed the officials to ensure the availability of quality fertilizers and certified seeds and other agricultural inputs.

    Minister Netam said that it is the responsibility of the departmental officers to ensure the supply of fertilizers and seeds to the farmers as per their demand. There should not be any kind of negligence in this. He instructed the officers to regularly visit their respective areas and monitor the storage and lifting of fertilizers and seeds, as well as continue sampling and investigation to ensure their quality.

    In the meeting, Agriculture Production Commissioner Shehla Nigar informed that in the last Kharif marketing year 2023, a total of 4.62 lakh quintals of seeds were distributed in the cooperative sector. In the current Kharif year 2024, the demand for 5.44 lakh quintals of seeds has been estimated in the cooperative sector. At present, a total of 6.31 lakh quintals of seeds are available with the Seed Corporation, which is 116 percent of the demand. As of June 10, a total of 4.16 lakh quintals of seeds have been stored in various cooperative societies, which is about 76 percent of the demand. Farmers have so far lifted 2.41 lakh quintals of seeds, which is 47 percent more than the 1.64 lakh quintals lifted in the same period last year.

    In the meeting, Nigar informed that the current storage of fertilizers in the cooperative sector is 6.20 lakh tonnes, which is 72 percent of the demand. Farmers have so far lifted 3.29 lakh tonnes of fertilizers, which is 38 percent of the demand. Minister Netam expressed satisfaction over the storage status of seeds and fertilizers and said that this pace of storage should be maintained throughout the Kharif season, so that the supply is not disrupted.

    Instructions to monitor fertilizer transportation in districts

    Minister Netam directed the officials to maintain constant coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Chemicals of the Government of India and fertilizer supply companies. He has also given instructions to promote nano fertilizers and monitor fertilizer transportation in border districts. He told the officials of Apex Bank that the storage capacity in the committees should be assessed, if there is a need for additional warehouse for storage, then its proposal should be made available immediately. Director Agriculture Dr. Saransh Mittal, officials of Markfed, Seed Corporation, Apex Bank, Indira Gandhi Agricultural University and senior officials of Agriculture and Horticulture Department were present in the meeting.

  • Yogi cabinet approved the new transfer policy 2024-25, now such officers can be transferred

    Lucknow. The Yogi government on Tuesday approved the new transfer policy for 2024-25. Under this policy, those officers of Group A and B who have completed 3 years in the district and 7 years in the division can be transferred. At the same time, the oldest officers in Group C and D will be transferred. The maximum limit for the transfer of Group A and B officers is 20 percent, while for Group C and D a maximum of 10 percent has been kept. Under this transfer policy, all transfers are to be done by June 30. A total of 42 proposals were placed in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Yogi on Tuesday, out of which 41 proposals were approved.

    Giving information about the proposals passed in the cabinet meeting, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that the cabinet has approved the Transfer Policy 2024-25. In this policy, the provisions of last year’s policy have been followed. Under this, those officers of Group A and B who have completed 7 years in the division and 3 years in the district in their service period will come under the transfer policy. Along with this, the number of officers transferred cadre wise in Group A and B will be maximum 20 percent and the maximum limit for Group C and D has been kept at 10 percent. He told that according to the arrangement made for Group C and D, the oldest officers will be transferred first. If more than 10 percent transfer has to be done, then the permission of the minister will be required for this. At the same time, if there is a need to transfer more than 20 percent in Group A and B, then it will be necessary to take permission from the Chief Minister.

    Transfer will be digitized through human resources

    He said that the transfer in Group C and D will be completed completely through the Manav Sampada portal. Under the system of Manav Sampada that has been started, the arrangement of leaving and taking charge after the transfer can be done online only. With this, the service book and salary of the officers can be digitized. Along with this, he said that under the system that is already in place for the 8 aspiring districts of the state and 100 aspiring development blocks of 34 districts, filling the vacant posts there will be the top priority.

According to the approved proposal, the word state has been removed from the names of these universities. Maharaj Suheldev State University Azamgarh will now be named Maharaj Suheldev University Azamgarh. Similarly, approval has been given to remove the word state from Maa Shakumbhari Devi State University Saharanpur, Maa Vindhyavasini State University Mirzapur, Maa Pateshwari Devi State University Balrampur. At the same time, it has been decided to change the name of Uttar Pradesh State University Moradabad to Guru Jambeshwar University Moradabad. State Government Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said that the state government is committed to develop higher education so that the students of the state can receive higher education in their own state. For this, along with government universities, private universities are also being promoted. In this sequence, a proposal to give Letter of Intent to two new private universities has been passed.
