Admission for CBS reserved seats today

Kuldeep Kumar secured 459 rank in the All India category

51 students got admission in IIT in five years

Along with providing education from class IX to XII, Prayas Vidyalaya of Raipur is fulfilling the dream of promising tribal children to study in IIT, NIT and equivalent best technical institutes. Last April, 64 children from here qualified JEE Mains and became eligible for JEE Advanced, out of which 32 children have now qualified JEE Advanced as well. While children qualifying JEE Advanced will be able to get admission in various IITs and equivalent institutes of the country, children qualifying JEE Mains will fulfill their dream of studying in NIT (National Institute of Technology) and equivalent institutes. In the last five years, 51 students of Prayas Vidyalaya Raipur have got admission in various IITs of the country by qualifying the tough competitive examination of JEE held at the national level. Whereas 94 children have been selected in National Institutes of Technology (NITs).

700 children are studying in Saddu Prayas Vidyalaya

Children from the forest areas and remote notified areas of the state are studying in Prayas Vidyalaya located in Saddu, Raipur. About 700 children are studying here from class IX to XII. In the academic session 2023-24, 166 students were studying with Mathematics (PCM) as a subject. Manjula Tiwari, Principal of Prayas Vidyalaya, says that the children of class XI and XII are taught here with a view to prepare for board examinations as well as competitive examinations like JEE. Due to both types of studies in the school itself, children perform well in board examinations as well as competitive examinations. She told that their problems related to studies are resolved by dividing them into different groups according to their intellectual level and performance in the class. Along with institutions like IIT and NIT, many children of Prayas Vidyalaya are also selected in other engineering colleges every year.

Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. There are allegations of death of goats after vaccination in Kargi Khurd of the district. After the order of the government, vaccination of animals is being done in the village. Where Lorik Ram Yadav’s twelve goats were vaccinated, after which three goats died. At the same time, nine goats are sick, who were treated by the employees of the veterinary mobile ambulance. In this case, veterinary officials say that the goats died not due to vaccination but due to heat stroke.

According to the information, twelve goats of Lorik Ram Yadav, who lives in Kargi Khurd, were vaccinated on June 1. After which their condition deteriorated. Two goats died in the morning and another goat died by the evening. After this, the villagers have made serious allegations against the doctors of the animal dispensary and have said that they did the wrong vaccination. The villagers say that after the goats died, the doctor posted here threw them away and tried to suppress the matter. After which, due to the uproar, their post-mortem was done.

Regarding this, the area’s veterinary doctor Rajkumar Kurre says that there was information about the death of goats in Kargi. After investigation and postmortem, it was found that the goats did not die due to the vaccine. It has been found that they died due to heat stroke because of the heat. If the deaths were due to the vaccine, then more such cases would have come to light. A compensation case has been prepared in the entire matter and handed over to the higher authorities.

CM Sai will lay the foundation stone of Gurukul in Amlidih today

State level chess competition starts today

In the memory of late Ashish Sharma, the state level chess competition will be organized in Vipra College campus from 13 to 16 June. Water will not be available from 9 tanks of Raipur this evening

There is a leakage in the 700 mm diameter pipeline going from the 150 MLD plant of the Municipal Corporation’s filter plant located at Bhatgaon to Mowa-Saddu. Due to its repair work, there will be no water supply from Amlidih, Avanti Vihar, Krishi Upaj Mandi, Mowa, Daldal Seoni, Saddu, Kachana, Amasivani and Jora tanks on the evening of June 13.

Executive Engineer of Water Works Department in the Corporation, Narsingh Farendra said that this rising main pipeline which fills the tanks has burst near Avanti Vihar drain. A shutdown of about 10 hours will be required to repair it. Work will start after water supply in the morning on 13th June, hence these 9 tanks will not be filled for supply in the evening. The arrangement will be restored in the morning on 14th June. During this time, water will be supplied through tankers in the affected areas on demand of drinking water on Thursday evening.
