On Monday, Health Minister Shyambihari Jaiswal has hit back at the Congress by refuting the allegations leveled by former CM Bhupesh Baghel on the police administration.

Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, who reached Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district on Monday, has countered Bhupesh Baghel’s statement regarding the police administration in this matter. He said that Congress people are responsible for the Balodabazar incident. The police is not trying to put any pressure on anyone.

While accusing the Congress, he said that former ministers and MLAs are seen in the media and social media. Along with this, the citizens there are saying that the Congressmen were trying to provoke people regarding the Balodabazar incident.

Let us tell you, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had given a statement regarding the Balodabazar violence incident that the police is pressurizing the people caught in the Balodabazar incident to take the names of Congressmen. The patient got relief on reaching the district hospital

The first ray of hope was seen when he reached the district hospital Mungeli for consultation. Dr. Shreyansh Parikh, a bone disease and joint transplant specialist, after a thorough examination of the patient, got his X-ray and blood tests done and told him that both his hips were completely worn out due to arthritis and advised him to get artificial hips installed by transplanting both the hips. After a discussion at home, the patient and his family gave their consent for the operation and the patient was admitted to the hospital. In a short interval of time, Dr. Shreyansh Parikh and his experienced team successfully transplanted both the hips one by one.

The very next day after the operation, Lunakaran Devangan started walking on his feet with the help of a walker. The doctors discharged him from the hospital advising him to do regular exercise. The patient and his family expressed their gratitude to the team of doctors, civil surgeon Dr. MK Rai and the hospital administration and appreciated their work. The patient is able to walk on his feet without support and is carrying out his daily tasks without any problem.

A big achievement for hospital management

Successful transplant of both hips of a single patient is a big achievement for District Hospital Mungeli. Recently, to repair the fracture of hip bowl (acetabulum) of 26-year-old Maheshwar, a resident of Mungeli, in a road accident, Dr. Shreyansh Parikh and team performed a complex high risk surgery and implanted a special plate to enable Maheshwar to walk again and provided him free benefits by saving him from expenses worth lakhs. By performing many such complex operations, this government hospital is spreading its fame and proving to be a boon for patients of many districts including Mungeli.

Balodabazar. In the violent incident that took place in Balodabazar on June 10, the rioters set the Collector and SP offices on fire. The joint district office suffered a lot of damage due to this incident. Restoration work has now been completed to repair the damage. The building of the joint district office has now returned to its old form.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Collector Deepak Soni has executed this work by making a comprehensive strategy. Under which the Public Works Department has completed it by working 24 hours. Along with this, 100 percent restoration work has been completed in the damaged District Panchayat Office and District Election Office along with cleaning of the premises. With the completion of the restoration work, a different shine is visible in the office. Under the restoration work, other important works like construction work, parapet, removal of burnt APC board, installation of new railing, painting with putty, CCTV, brandband, changing glass, installing AC, fans, lighting, etc. have been done.

Two soldiers died due to IED blast in Sukma

SSP Akash Rao said that the advance party of 201 Cobra Corps from Camp Silger under Jagargunda police station was going towards Tekalgudem camp by truck and motorcycle during duty. On the way from Silger to Tekalgudem, Naxalites had planted IED with the intention of harming the security forces. Today at around 3 pm, the truck carrying the soldiers of 201 Cobra Corps came under the impact of IED. During this, the truck driver and 1 soldier were martyred. The current village priest Firat Ram Dhruv, successor of the priest, says that he had heard from his father Dev Singh that before his great grandfather Nagendra Shah, his ancestors, who used to be the village priests, the goddess used to come in the guise of a woman and feed them food every day after their farming work. Hari Dhruv, the most educated person in the family, is the manager of Gariaband Cooperative Bank. He says that if this was a superstition, it would have been broken, but now it has become a belief. His wife Lalita says that one can wear Mangalsutra, apart from this, brass bangles are worn. Widowed women are made to wear silver bangles, which are cracked. Lalita is also educated. Her husband is always out of the house due to his job. No one says anything about the clothes in the village, but outside, people’s curiosity has to be satisfied.

The new generation needs to change but

Before making a daughter-in-law, the relatives are made aware of this custom of the family. The matter moves forward only after the consent of the would-be daughter-in-law. Earlier, the relationship was easy. After the 5th generation, difficulties started arising in establishing the relationship. Now the 6th generation sons also want this custom to change. But the elders of the family are not changing it despite wanting to. Vishnu Dhruv, the senior of the family, says that this is not a superstition, but he is hopeful that one day he will definitely get signs of changing the custom.

Dilshad Ahmed, Surajpur. A sensational case of murder has come to light from the district. A drunken husband brutally beat his wife to death. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation by registering a case. Taking action in the case, the police have arrested the accused husband. This case is from Ramanujnagar police station area.

According to the information, Vijay Singh (40 years), a resident of Panchvati village under Ramanujnagar police station, had gone to village Madanpur to repair the roof of the house the previous day. During this, he got into an argument with his friends and returned home after drinking alcohol. Seeing her husband in a drunken state, his wife Bindu (30 years) started arguing and scolding her husband. Hearing his wife’s words, the husband got angry and attacked his wife and beat her mercilessly. Due to which the wife died. After the incident, the accused husband fled from the spot.

On receiving the information of the case, the Ramanujanagar police reached the spot and started the investigation. The police have arrested the absconding husband after the incident. The accused has confessed his crime. At present, the police is engaged in further action in the case.

Raipur. Surprise checking was done for vehicles and suspicious persons on the roads late at night in the capital. In this action, all the senior officers including Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh and police station in-charges came out on the road.

During this time, checking was done at dozens of points from 8 pm on Saturday night till late night. Blockades were put in place in the countryside in the evening. Thousands of vehicles were checked at each point.
