The Baghel government snatched the rights of the poor only because the name of the Prime Minister was mentioned in this scheme.     Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai along with Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Durg MLA Gajendra Yadav addressed the press at the Chief Minister’s residence regarding the approval given by the Central Government under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that this is a matter of happiness for Chhattisgarh. We want to convey our message to the people who were deprived of Pradhan Mantri Awas in the last five years during the Congress government.

    He said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a scheme for the welfare of the poor. 18 lakh families of the state were deprived during the then Bhupesh Baghel government. The Baghel government snatched the rights of the poor only because the name of the Prime Minister was mentioned in this scheme.

    The Chief Minister said that during the elections, Prime Minister Modi had promised that a decision would be taken on this as soon as the government is formed. As soon as the BJP government came to power in the state, this decision was taken in the first cabinet itself. Due to the state government not depositing the state share, the central amount was allocated to another state.

    He said that the Government of India has approved 8 lakh 46 thousand houses. People deprived due to the inaction of the previous government will get the benefit. Out of these, 24 thousand houses have been completed for the people of special backward tribes.

    The Chief Minister alleged that the previous government had approved housing for 47 thousand 90 people by making a separate scheme, out of which housing was approved for 25 thousand people. We are not discriminating in the announcement made by the previous government. The remaining people will also get the benefit of the housing scheme.

    Under the able leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Union Cabinet has approved this scheme for the remaining 6,99,331 families in the permanent waiting list prepared on the basis of SECC 2011 data under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and 1,47,600 families out of 8,19,999 families of Awas Plus.

All registrars have also been instructed to provide the government with the details of movable and immovable property of all personnel.

During this, special instructions were given to the representatives of the local administration and Ganesh Utsav committees to submit the necessary reports on time and to follow the immersion process of idols and the use of polythene as per the guidelines of NGT.

    Important instructions regarding Ganesh festival

    The district administration has issued several important instructions regarding Ganesh immersion and pandal construction. Under the issued instructions, orders have been given for Ganesh pandal construction and immersion.

    Ganesh immersion should be done at designated places. Volunteers should be posted at all pandals with CCTV cameras. Biodegradable materials should be used. Use of polythene bags will be completely banned.

    In the meeting of the committees, ADM Devendra Patel has asked the officials of the Ganesh Utsav committees not to set up pandals on the roadside so as not to disturb the peace and to avoid traffic obstruction. A cleanliness drive will also be run during the festival and the concerned committees will be held responsible in case of any violation. Along with this, a warning has also been given of strict action for spreading pollution and dirt. Additional Superintendent of Police OP Sharma along with district administration officials and officers were present in the meeting.

    In her press conference today, Leader of Opposition Meenal Chaubey accused Mayor Dhebar of releasing the documents of the proposal of Rs. 10 lakhs sent for her Moscow trip and trying to hide the proposal sent to the government for a personal trip. She said if this was an official trip of Mayor Dhebar, then why did she not get the approval. The documents released included the details of the food, accommodation and travel expenses made by the agent of The Travel Gallery and the proposal to the Corporation Commissioner for approval of Rs. 10 lakhs. The Leader of Opposition says that this proves that the trip which the Mayor is calling official was actually a personal trip.

    The condition of Raipur railway station is getting worse these days. The condition of platform number 1 is such that the railway officials are not able to provide chairs for the passengers to sit. There are many sets of 3-person seating in which 1 chair has disappeared.

    The railway officials neither got it repaired nor did they make any other arrangement for the passengers to sit in its place. For show, separate arrangements have been made for women to sit, but there is a shortage of chairs here too.

    The condition of the seating arrangement for men is also worse. Broken and crooked chairs have been placed here. Passengers may suffer back pain after sitting on them.

Sharada said that during her schooling, people never gave her a chance to come forward, but after becoming a teacher, she innovated to teach her students with new techniques.

    He told that there was a big change in his life during Covid. During Covid, he started making videos on different topics of mathematics through teaching-learning-material. Which became very popular across the state. At the same time, he made studying easy in a playful way by creating audio-video books, e-content, PDFs.

    K. Sharada has written 20 books on different subjects to make the curriculum easier. Some of these books have been included in the curriculum in government schools in the state. Earlier, Sharada was also honoured with the Governor’s Award last year.
