  • CG NEWS: Two Naxalites involved in IED blast incident arrested

    Pushpendra Singh, Dantewada. Security forces have arrested two Maoists involved in the IED blast incident. The joint force of CRPF 231 Corps and the police station had gone out on patrol on the information of Maoists. Two suspicious persons were coming from Jagargunda side, who after seeing the police party, started running towards the forest.

    The police party laid siege and arrested 02 suspects. The names of the arrested accused are Manglu Punem and Mangu Punem. Both of them are members of Gondapalli militia team. Since crimes were registered against both of them, they were duly arrested and sent on judicial remand. CRPF 231 Corps played a special role in this action.

  • When he refused to give a cigarette, the young man was crushed to death with a stone, three accused arrested

    Crime News. In Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur Dehat, a young man took his life for a cigarette. Four days ago a young man was crushed to death with a stone. This matter has been disclosed by the police. Police have arrested three accused, including a minor.

    Let us tell you that the dead body of a youth was found in the Yamuna Canal Pump Canal of Amrahat police station area on the morning of 10th February. A blood stained stone was also lying there, due to which it was suspected that the young man had been crushed to death by the stone. The youth was identified as Mainuddin, resident of Pata Phaphund Auraiya.

    He was a resident of Khojaphool of Amrahat police station area and was staying at his maternal uncle’s house here. While disclosing this case, the police arrested three accused including a minor. The accused have been identified as Vinay Babu alias Chaddha, Manish Singh. The third accused is a minor.

    The accused have confessed to the crime during interrogation. Told that on the evening of February 9, all three people had gone to a shop near the village to buy cigarettes. Mainuddin was already standing there. Asked him to buy cigarettes, but he refused as he did not have money. After this the accused abused him and then took him along on the pretext of giving him alcohol.

    Mainuddin was taken to Yamuna Canal Pump Canal, where first Vinay Babu alias Chadha attacked his head with a stone, due to which he fell on the ground. Then all three of them took turns and killed him by hitting him on the face. After this the dead body was thrown into the canal.
