MUMBAI: BJP chief Sudhir Mungantiwar on Tuesday mentioned his celebration won’t shape an alliance with the Shiv Sena — its former best friend — in long term. Talking throughout his celebration’s ‘Ballot Khol’ marketing campaign in opposition to the Shiv Sena which controls the Brihanmumbai Municipal Company (BMC), he mentioned that the BJP will now divulge the Sena’s “corruption” within the civic frame.
“BJP won’t forge any alliance in long term with Shiv Sena to score energy. We’re right here now to show Sena’s corrupt practices in BMC,” Mungantiwar mentioned. Shiv Sena and BJP, allies for many years, fell out over the executive minister’s put up after the 2019 Maharashtra Meeting elections.
