NEW DELHI: Kashmiri photojournalist and Pulitzer award winner Sanna Irshad Mattoo used to be stopped through immigration government from flying to New York.
That is the second one time in 3 months that Mattoo is being stopped through immigration officers at Delhi airport with out giving a legitimate explanation why for preventing her from flying out of the country.
“I used to be on my approach to obtain the Pulitzer award (@Pulitzerprizes) in New York however I used to be stopped at immigration at Delhi airport and barred from touring across the world in spite of protecting a legitimate US visa and price tag,” she tweeted on Tuesday.

On July 2, Mattoo used to be stopped from flying to Paris. On the time, the photojournalist used to be on her approach to attend a guide release and images exhibition when she used to be advised through officers at Delhi airport that she can not fly out of the country.
Within the final 3 years, Kashmiri journalist Gowhar Geelani, journalist-turned-academician Zahid Rafiq and journalist Ruwa Shah had been avoided from travelling out of the country.
