  • ‘Modi Ji’s Retirement Necessary For Youth To Get Employment’: Rahul Gandhi |

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi retirement from politics is necessary as it will prove beneficial for the youth to get more employment opportunities in the future.

In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi said, “Whatever I want Narendra Modi to say, I can get it said. There is just one more word left to come out of their mouths: unemployment. Modi ji’s retirement is necessary for the youth to get employment.”

Earlier in March, Rahul Gandhi claimed that India’s unemployment rate is double compared to Pakistan’s and said the situation has been the outcome of the poor financial politics of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“The country is facing injustice on many fronts. There is economic and social injustice. Farmers are facing injustice. Our country is facing the worst unemployment rate in the last 40 years. India’s unemployment rate is double that of Pakistan. 23 per cent of youth were unemployed in India and 12 per cent in Pakistan. Our unemployment rate is higher than in Bhutan and Bangladesh as well,” he said.

According to a 2022 World Bank report, India’s youth unemployment rate stood at 23.22 per cent, surpassing that of its neighbouring countries Pakistan (11.3 per cent) and Bangladesh (12.9 per cent).

Rahul Gandhi on Friday challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi again over public debate and claimed that he is ready but the PM will disagree, adding that PM Modi is incapable of answering questions about his “links” with a few favoured businessmen and how he “misused” electoral bonds.

“He (PM Narendra Modi) gave 30-35 interviews to the same 5-10 journalists. 2-3 intellectuals and journalists wrote to me and made public announcements. They also wrote to Narendra Modi and said that there should be a debate in democracy, it is essential; that he should have debate with Rahul Gandhi…I am ready, Narendra Modi can have a debate with me wherever he wants. What do you think, will he come to have a debate with me? No, he can’t…Narendra Modi can’t have a debate,” Rahul Gandhi said addressing a rally in Delhi.

Referring to PM Modi’s recent claim that Congress gets money Adani-Ambani in tempos, Rahul said, “PM Modi talks about Congress getting tempo-loads of money from Adani-Ambani, but he doesn’t dare to get it probed.”

He further said that PM Modi did nothing for small businessmen but gave Rs 16 lakh crore to industrialists like Adani-Ambani.”Tell me whatever you want Narendra Modi to say, I will make him say that in his speeches. I told him, “Narendra Modi, you don’t mention the names of Adani-Ambani. You should mention their names.” 2-3 days later, Narendra Modi said “Adani-Ambani, Adani-Ambani,” he said.

Reacting to several opposition leaders joining BJP “fearing CBI-ED action”, Rahul said, “We don’t want ‘darpok’ leaders to stay with us, only want ‘Babbar Sher’.”
Rahul Gandhi further said that one woman from each of these families will be selected and Rs 1 lakh per annum will be deposited in the account of that woman by the INDIA bloc.

“For them, the lives of daughters like Neha have no value, they think only about their vote bank. Can Congress ever provide safety to your daughters?  In a college campus, in daylight, such dare, they who committed crime know that those hungry for vote bank will save them in a few days.”

  • Elon Musk Set To Meet PM Modi In New Delhi: Know Why Tesla Is Keen On India Entry? | Mobility News

New Delhi: Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is coming to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India. Elon Musk posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he is looking forward to meeting PM Modi in India. According to reports, Elon Musk will be in India on April 21 and 22. The billionaire will be in the country for 48 hours. Musk will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other government officials as well as industry representatives.

Why Tesla-Led Elon Musk Is Keen On India Entry?

Elon Musk’s interest in entering the Indian market with Tesla is fueled by multiple factors. From India’s growing interest in electric vehicles to its vast market potential, Musk sees a golden opportunity. But what exactly draws him to this South Asian giant?

As we all know, interest in electric cars is rapidly increasing in India, but the market is still small. Last year, only 6 electric cars were sold out of 100, while in China, the figure is 22. In India, 80,000 cars were sold last year, while Tesla alone sells 1.8 Lakhs cars.

The potential is massive in India. This promising opportunity is a significant factor driving Elon Musk’s decision to expand Tesla’s presence in the Indian market. (Also Read: Mahindra XUV 3XO: How Will This SUV Differ From XUV300?)

Earlier, Tesla was not interested in exploring the Indian market due to heavy duties on electric cars. India has been imposing 100% import taxes on electric cars, meaning a Tesla priced at Rs 29 Lakhs rupees would cost around 60 Lakhs rupees in India.

Now, the government has changed its policy. Any company investing 500 million dollars and setting up a factory as well in India can sell cars by paying a 15% import tax. There is hope that Tesla’s cars will be available for around 35 Lakhs rupees.

To recall, Elon Musk and PM Modi met in New York in June. Tesla asked India many times to reduce import taxes on electric cars.

Reportedly, Tesla might invest $3 billion to build a factory for making affordable electric cars in India. These cars, possibly the Model 2, could cost around Rs 25 lakh. Elon Musk may also reveal intentions to introduce Starlink, offering satellite internet in India. However, the regulatory approvals for Starlink are in the final stages, and the company is likely to receive a license soon. Tesla currently has two vehicle manufacturing facilities outside the US — near Berlin (Germany) and in Shanghai (China). Tesla’s entry into India gives the country’s Make-in-India project a big boost after it got another mega brand Apple to manufacture iPhones in India.

  • ‘Felt Terrible’: Tejashwi Yadav On Nitish Kumar Touching PM Modi’s Feet |

New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav reacted to the incident of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar touching Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday and said that he felt terrible and found it painful to see. Yadav was referring to Modi’s rally in Bihar earlier today ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections where he was joined by Nitish Kumar, Chirag Paswan and other BJP-JDU leaders Nitish momentarily touched PM’s feet.

“Today I saw a picture of Nitish Kumar where he touched the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi…We felt very bad. What has happened? Nitish Kumar is our guardian…There is no other CM as experienced as Nitish Kumar and he is touching the feet of PM Modi,” said Tejashwi.

Earlier today, Tejashvi Yadav hit out at PM Modi and called him a “machine of lies.” Reacting to Modi’s statement that leaders of the INDIA alliance are “anti-Sanatan”, RJD leader said, “What is the proof? Am I not a Hindu? There is a temple in my house. Are people of the BJP considering themselves as God? People of BJP should not compare themselves with God. God is watching everything and everyone has to go there.”

In the post on X, Yadav had accused the BJP of indulging in “institutional, organised and systematic corruption”, which was marked by huge donations to the party through electoral bonds and hounding of political adversaries through ED, CBI and IT department.

Yadav, who is named in land-for-jobs scam, pertaining to father Lalu Prasad’s tenure as Railway Minister when he was a minor, had also sought to know why the agencies took no action against leaders of the BJP who faced corruption allegations and how come turncoats from the opposition camp often got reprieve after crossing over.

“I am glad that ever since I started flagging the political dynasts in the BJP-led coalition, the PM has stopped his rants against parivarvad. The very candidate he has campaigned for Bihar comes from a political family,” he said.

He also scoffed at the PM’s claim “I address rallies only to have a darshan of my people” despite being confident of a win in the elections, which is being predicted by surveys.

The RJD leader remarked, “If that is so, why is the PM having a darshan of the people only during election time? The fact is, he is scared. So he is playing mind games. He has been a manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler, all rolled into one, of lies.”
