Earlier, CM Banerjee during his poll rally in Goghat under the Arambagh Lok Sabha constituency on Saturday claimed that some mocks of the Ramakrishna Mission and Bharat Sevashram Sangha are working under the BJP leader’s influence.

“Some monks of Ramakrishna Mission and Bharat Sevashram Sangha are working under the influence of BJP leaders in Delhi. Those who are looking after temples are doing great spiritual jobs, but everyone is not doing so. This is not done. We respect the monks,” she said.

PM Modi further added that these organisations have millions of followers across the world and they aim to serve the people.

“The Bengal government has pointed fingers at them. So much courage! Just to please their vote bank?” PM Modi said.

Meanwhile, Modi accused Banerjee during his Bishnupur rally and said that she was under the pressure of Muslim fundamentalists and attacking the saints and monks of the country.

“In their desperation, TMC leaders have started hurling abuses at prestigious organisations like ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, and Bharat Sevashram Sangha. These organisations have brought glory to Bengal, but the CM of the state claims they are ruining Bengal. Under pressure from Muslim fundamentalists, she has publicly insulted our faith,” he added.

  • Mandi Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Vikramaditya Singh Challenges Kangana Ranaut For Open Debate |

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh minister and Congress candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha seat on Wednesday challenged BJP nominee Kangana Ranaut for an open debate over their vision for the constituency.

While addressing a press conference here, Singh said, “Ours is a healthy democracy…she should take part in a debate and tell the people about her vision. I will also tell the people about the work which I have done for Mandi as well as my vision for the constituency.”

He also hit out at the actor over her speeches in poll meetings and said that whenever she goes she has only one agenda and that is to keep on repeating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name.

“Though we have immense respect for PM Modi, she should at least tell the people about her vision instead of completely relying on the PM,” the public works minister added.

“She says that she is a big actress…she should come forward and tell the people of Mandi about the work that she will be doing for them, and I believe that the youth, women, and people of Mandi will appreciate it,” Singh said.

“I believe that this is the way to take things forward so that the people of Mandi can decide whom they want to be their leader from Mandi,” he said. Singh claimed that Kangana does not know history and geography of the state.

“She just reads out the script that is handed over to her by her scriptwriters and has no reply when someone asks her a question,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kangana, who was addressing a gathering in Nankhari area in Mandi constituency, hit out at Singh and said that if former chief minister Virbhadra Singh was alive today, he would have scolded Vikramaditya Singh for making “disrespectful statements” against her and would have asked him to apologise to her.

She said that he (Virbhadra Singh) would have been deeply hurt by the fact that the daughter of Himachal Pradesh was told that she is “impure”.

“We can forgive him (Vikramaditya Singh) for saying that but we cannot give him the leadership,” she added.

“Even when there was a bomb blast in a Bengaluru’s cafe, the Congress government did not take it seriously initially; they even termed it a cylinder blast initially. “Why are you — Congress — lying to the people of the country, if you can’t, leave and go home,” Modi said.

The Congress for the sake of votes is taking support of banned PFI — the anti-national organisation that supported terrorism. “To win one seat in Wayanad, are you surrendering to them? BJP has banned PFI and has put its leaders behind bars.” he said.

  • Over 2.75 Crore Voters To Vote For 194 Contestants In 20 Lok Sabha Seats In Kerala Tomorrow |

Thiruvananthapuram: A total of 194 contestants in 20 Lok Sabha seats are vying for voters’ support as Kerala goes to the polls on Friday, after over a month-long fierce campaign by the CPI(M)-led ruling LDF, Congress-headed UDF, and the BJP-led NDA. The Election Commission said there are over 2.75 crore voters in Kerala where polling will commence at 7 am on Friday.

Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay Kaul said 63,100 bottles of ink are used to prevent fraudulent voting and ensure flawless and transparent elections. This time there are 2,77,49,159 voters in the state out of which more than five lakh are first-time voters.

According to reports, Diler passed away while undergoing treatment at the Varun Hospital in Aligarh. Rajveer Singh Diler’s mortal remains were later brought to his residence on the ITI Road. The sudden demise of the sitting BJP MP triggered a shockwave throughout the district. Diler’s untimely death is a significant political loss for his party – the BJP.

Several top BJP leaders have expressed grief over his death.

2nd Tragedy For BJP In A Week

After Moradabad, this is the second major blow for the BJP within a week. BJP candidate Kunwar Suresh Singh from Moradabad passed away on the first phase of voting last Saturday

Rajveer Diler won the 2019 Lok Sabha election on the BJP ticket and became a Member of Parliament. However, Diler was not given the ticket to contest the Lok Sabha polls this time. BJP has fielded Anoop Balmiki from the Hathras Lok Sabha seat.

Rajveer Diler, 65, was elected as a legislator from the Iglas assembly seat in 2017. However, he resigned to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Diler won the Hathras seat with a margin of 260,208 votes. He polled 684,299 votes with a vote share of 59.00 per cent and defeated his SP rival Ramji Lal Suman, who got 424,091 votes (36.83 per cent). His father, Kishan Lal Diler, has also served as a Member of Parliament from Hathras.

Rajveer Diler was known for his clean image – the main reason behind his nomination as a BJP candidate in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. While family members and close relatives are grieving over Rajveer Diler’s death, his supporters and political leaders have also started gathering at his residence to offer condolences.

Earlier this week, BJP candidate Kunwar Suresh Singh from Muradabad passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest at AIIMS Delhi after a brief illness. Suresh Singh was not very active during the election campaigning, but he had reached his Lok Sabha seat on polling day and cast his vote.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, state BJP president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over his demise.
