Raipur. In the budget session of the Lok Sabha, Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha MP Santosh Pandey thanked Chhattisgarh for the 6922 crores received for development in the field of railways. MP Pandey said that in the year 2009, the state of Chhattisgarh received only 311 crores in the central budget through South East Central Railway, whereas in the year 2024, it has received 6922 crores. The Modi government at the Center has always been committed to accelerating development in the field of railways by increasing the budget 22 times.

He further informed that the work of renovation and upgradation of 32 railway stations of the state is going on by including them in Amrit Station Yojana. Also, work is going on on 25 new rail projects at a cost of Rs 37018 crore. 141 overbridges and under bridges have been constructed in Chhattisgarh, out of which 14 are from Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency.

Demand to speed up the Dongargarh-Katghora new railway line

While raising the issue of speeding up the new railway line from Dongargarh to Katghora, MP Santosh Pandey said that it is necessary to start the construction work of this new railway line soon, which will reduce the pressure of rail traffic on Mumbai Howrah Main Line. Transporting goods trains through the new railway line will help in running the trains on time. He said, the impact of the double engine government has also been seen in the construction of the new railway line, in which the Railway Ministry has made a budget provision of 500 crores and Vishnu Dev government of Chhattisgarh has made a budget provision of 300 crores. MP Pandey has also placed the demand for stoppage of Puri-Gandhidham, Puri-Ajmer, Bhagat Ki Kothi, Dongargarh-Raipur local MEMU and other trains at Rajnandgaon and Dongargarh stations through the House.

MP Santosh Pandey thanked Prime Minister Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and said that the central government is always moving towards the all-round development of entire Chhattisgarh along with railways. The magic of the double engine government will be seen in all areas from solar energy to railways, new roads and industrial development.

To make people aware about organ donation and tissue donation, a street play named ‘Nayi Chetna’ will be organized on Wednesday, July 31 under the aegis of the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization Chhattisgarh. The play will be organized at DKS Superspeciality Hospital from 11 am on Wednesday and at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital at 1 pm. The delegation informed that the names of the wards have been changed to other wards and the boundaries of many wards have not been drawn uniformly, which has created many anomalies. Census was to be conducted in 2021, which was not done, due to which the reorganization and reservation of the wards is getting affected. Due to this, the citizens of the ward are facing difficulties in correcting Aadhaar card, ration card, passport and all related documents for their residence information due to change in ward number.

The delegation also informed that all the houses were marked on the basis of satellite survey and the government spent money by putting up boards, which is being spent again. Apart from this, changing the collector guidelines in land registration will create a situation of contradiction, which will create many problems. The Congress delegation has submitted a memorandum and demanded to solve these problems.

Raipur. The state government has transferred officers on a large scale in the health department. In which Chief Medical and Health Officers (CMHO) and Civil Surgeons of many districts have been transferred. This transfer order has been issued by the Public Health and Family Welfare Department.
