  • Finance Minister OP Choudhary hit back at Congress over Charan Paduka Yojana, said- these are people of mafia rule…

Raipur. The Chhattisgarh government is going to start the Charanpaduka scheme again. Politics is heating up in the state over this. On one hand, the Congress is opposing this scheme. On the other hand, Finance Minister OP Choudhary has hit back at the previous Congress government of the state over the scheme and accused the previous Congress government of mafia rule.

Finance Minister OP Choudhary said that Tendu leaves are green gold in Chhattisgarh. Our government empowered the tribal brothers and sisters by increasing the rate of per standard sack of Tendu leaves from Rs 4000 to Rs 5500. During the Congress rule, Tendu leaf collectors got neither the benefit of insurance nor bonus. When we are relaunching the Charan Paduka Yojana, Congress is feeling uncomfortable.

The Finance Minister, while accusing the Congress, said that these Congress people used to buy tendu leaves only for show. They had stopped the insurance scheme, scholarship scheme, Charan Paduka scheme. If Vishnudev Sai’s government decides to distribute Charan Paduka so that the tribal brothers and sisters do not get thorns in their feet, then why are the people of the Congress, who neither gave insurance, nor scholarship, nor Charan Paduka, nor benefit of any scheme, nor any bonus, having stomach ache today? Answer this today.

He said that our government works under the rules and laws. These are the people (Congress) who shut down the JAM portal, through which purchases are made with complete transparency, and include the wrong people to practice nepotism. Those who created the system to buy substandard goods are raising questions today… no one can digest this. These people were the ones who ran the mafia rule.
