  • Partition Horror Memorial Day organized in the capital: CM Sai paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the partition, said- The society which forgets history has to repeat the same history

Shivam Mishra, Raipur. Just a day before Independence Day, the BJP is celebrating Partition Horrors Remembrance Day across the country. This program was also organized in the capital Raipur, in which Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai was present on the stage, along with BJP officials and members of the families who suffered during the partition. The purpose of this event is to remember the history of India’s partition and share the tragedy of partition.

During the program, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said, “On this day of 14th August, I pay tribute to those who lost their lives during Partition. This is the biggest tragedy of India. The society which forgets history has to repeat the same history. Partition not only caused pain to millions of Hindu families, but also the sting of rape and murder. All this happened due to the selfishness of two leaders. India never discriminated on the basis of religion or color, and we should always keep national interest above our own interests.”

During celebrations, we forget the pain of partition – MP Brijmohan Agarwal

Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal said in his address that “Everyone should be aware of the horror of Partition. Lakhs of Hindu families faced this tragedy. Independence came with many difficulties and during celebrations we forget the pain of Partition.”

Our revolutionaries considered Mother India as Maa Durga – Organization General Secretary Shiv Prakash

In his address, the organization’s general secretary Shiv Prakash said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the horror of partition. Now we will celebrate it as Bharat Vibhishika Diwas. Its purpose is to correct the mistakes of the society and adopt the right policies towards a bright future. Those who lost their homes in this partition also fought for independence. Our revolutionaries considered Bharat Mata as Maa Durga, but at the time of partition, those people shattered the status of mother.”

Today we do not need the blessings of Ayushmaan Bhavah, but Vijay Bhavah – Mukesh Khanna

Film actor Mukesh Khanna, who attended the program as the keynote speaker, said in his address that “Today we need the blessings of Vijay Bhavah, not Ayushmaan Bhavah. It is important to remember the bad days and defeats. A king is for the country, the country is not for the king. After winning the election, you come as a servant, not a king. After partition, Pakistan and Bangladesh were formed, but Hindustan could not be formed in the true sense. India is an example of the world’s most cruel partition. Forgiveness is not our weakness, it is our goodness. Today’s leaders should learn from the mistakes of our past. Some people do not want to sing Vande Mataram, but we should make it the national anthem. I demand Hindu Unity Day, so that all Hindus can go to the temple and sit with their families one day. This will be a great achievement.”

Satya Rajput, Surajpur. On one hand, efforts are being made to improve the quality of education in the state, on the other hand, there are some people who are taking advantage of their position for their own selfish interests and doing whatever they want. This was seen when the B+ NAAC grading government college in Bishrampur of the district was closed on Monday without any written order, due to which the students had to face a lot of trouble. When the students approached the college, they had to face closed doors and many students returned disappointed for their admission, TC and other work.

However, Surajpur Collector Rohit Vyas clarified that no order was issued to close the college.

A professor of the college, on the condition of anonymity, said that the principal had appointed teachers in Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology in the previous session 2023-24 without departmental permission, which has adversely affected the examination results. The principal is accused of not taking other academic matters seriously except IQAC and NAAC evaluation.

Rizwan, Additional Director of the Regional Office of the Higher Education Department, also said in this matter that no order has been issued by the Higher Education Department to close the college. He assured to ask the Principal the reason for this decision on the basis of complaints. On the other hand, Commissioner Higher Education Janak Prasad Pathak, seeing the seriousness of the matter, said that he has received information through you and he will get this matter investigated.
