  • Canada Deliberately Leaked ‘Intel’ Against India To US Media; Named Amit Shah Behind Hostile Activities | world news

With each passing day, new details emerge related to the India-Canada row showing that Justin Trudeau’s government is not only hell-bent on destroying its diplomatic relations with India but also deliberately led a vindictive campaign against India. In a latest expose, it came to light that two senior Canadian government officials deliberately leaked allegations/intel against India to the US media in a bid to get a morally upper hand. The leaked information also implicated Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah in allegedly directing hostile activities on Canadian soil.

Nathalie Drouin, Canada’s National Security and Intelligence Advisor, and David Morrison, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, disclosed the leaks to The Washington Post before the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) publicly accused India of involvement in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. and other incidents in Canada.

According to a Global and Mail report, Drouin disclosed the leak during a parliamentary panel session. Drouin said that the leak was part of a ‘communications strategy’ aimed at ensuring a prominent American outlet presented Canada’s viewpoint on the intensifying diplomatic dispute with India. Drouin claimed the strategy was seen by the Prime Minister’s Office but did not require authorization from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Since the leak happened, it’s clear that Trudeau did not make any attempt to stop it and had given his silent approval to the strategy.

The strategy involved allegations connecting Indian officials to the killing of Khalistani supporter Sukhdool Singh Gill, who was fatally shot in Winnipeg last year. This followed Justin Trudeau’s accusation that Indian officials were involved in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, though he provided no evidence to substantiate the claim.

  • Canada PM Trudeau Vows To Lead Liberal Party In Next Election Despite MPs Calls To Resign | world news

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Thursday that he will lead his Liberal Party into the next election even after two dozen of his Members of Parliament called on him to step aside, Canada-based Global News reported.

One member of his caucus has termed Trudeau’s announcement “disappointing.” Speaking to reporters, the Canadian PM said, “We’re going to continue to have great conversations about what is the best way to take on Pierre Poilievre in the next election,” Global News reported.

He further said, “But that will happen with me as leader going into the next election.”

Asked directly if he would stay on after the October 28 date, some caucus members had reportedly asked for a clear answer by, Trudeau replied with just one word: “Yes.”

He was also asked whether he would expel anyone from the caucus if dissent about his leadership continued. Trudeau said they have had “robust conversations” on how to go ahead.

Liberal MP Sean Casey, who was one of three members of the caucus who confirmed that they signed the document calling for the prime minister to resign, termed Trudeau’s announcement that he will stay on as leader just hours after MPs expressed their dissatisfaction “disappointing.”

Sean Casey said, “I don’t think that he felt that he needed to reflect, consolidate. His mind was made up.” Casey said he is now putting the issue behind him, according to Global News report.

He said that he had expressed what he had been hearing from his constituents and stressed that it will take his energy to win the seat. He said, “I did my job by voicing what I was hearing from my constituents. Now it’s going to take my energy and to direct them to winning my seat and not on internal party matters. As far as I’m concerned, it’s closed .”

The Charlottetown MP said that it’s ultimately the decision that the Prime Minister makes. However, he noted that he does not see the decision paying off.

Casey stated, “I wouldn’t call it delusional, but he’s seeing something that I don’t see, that my constituents don’t see.” He added that while he disagrees with Trudeau. However, he still believes that the Poilievre government would be the worst outcome and called on his colleagues not to vote against the current government.

He said, “Anything that we do that makes [a Poilievre government] more likely is dumb.”

Trudeau made the remarks after he met with his caucus on Wednesday, where some Liberals called on him to step down amid the party’s lagging in the elections and the two recent byelection losses in former Liberal strongholds.

Between 20 and 30 MPs had signed an internal document urging Trudeau to step down as leader, Global News reported citing sources. These leaders also voiced their concerns to Trudeau during the meeting, Global News reported.

After the meeting, several MPs said the party was united. However, they did not share details on what exactly happened behind closed doors. Internal calls for Justin Trudeau’s resignation as Liberal leader intensified on Wednesday as Liberal MPs convened on Parliament Hill, according to a report by CBC News.

During the closed-door meeting, dissenting MPs conveyed their grievances to Trudeau, reflecting growing discontent within the party. This gathering was part of the weekly caucus meetings that take place while the House of Commons is in session. The Wednesday meeting served as a platform for MPs to voice their concerns and frustrations directly to PM Trudeau.

Trudeau is facing mounting pressure from within his own party, with dissident Liberal MPs giving him an ultimatum to decide his future by October 28. During the caucus meeting on Wednesday, a document was presented outlining the case for Trudeau’s resignation, but it didn’t specify any consequences if he fails to meet the deadline.

The latest political rift in Canada has indeed been fueled by the escalating tensions between India and Canada. The ties between India and Canada soured after Trudeau alleged in the Canadian Parliament last year that he has “credible allegations” of India’s hand in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

India has denied all the allegations, calling them “absurd” and “politically motivated” and has accused Canada of giving space to extremist and anti-India elements in their country.

Nijjar, who was designated a terrorist by India’s National Investigation Agency in 2020, was shot and killed outside a Gurdwara in Surrey in June last year. The recent diplomatic row erupted when Canada labeled India’s High Commissioner and other diplomats as “persons of interest” in the investigation of Nijjar’s death.

  • Canada To Be Next Pakistan? Justin Trudeau’s Khalistan-Appeasement Policy May Do That | Analysis India News

It’s well known that Pakistan supported and nurtured terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) to use them against India. Such was Pakistan’s love for them that it not only funded these terrorist organizations but turned its soil into a safe haven for them. Today, there are many active terrorists organizations in Pakistan which have endangered the Islamic Republic’s security putting their people’s lives in danger. There is a saying – ‘You reap what you sow’. This is what is happening with Pakistan but it’s yet to realize its mistake and continues to sponsor terrorism against India.

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is also committing similar mistakes by harboring the pro-Khalistani elements for petty electoral gains. Trudeau’s party – the Liberal Party of Canada – is fast losing support among Canadian voters and thus, Trudeau is looking to appease the Sikh population who are around seven lakhs.

The Canadian government has accused India of using the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to target pro-Khalistani elements. However, it has failed to give any hard proof for the allegations so far.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has issued a strong response to the Canadian government’s allegations, stating that while the Trudeau government is accusing India by mentioning Lawrence Bishnoi, it has shown leniency toward criminals associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. India has sent 26 extradition requests to the Canadian government, but no action has been taken. Furthermore, India has also appealed in 29 cases where wanted criminals should have been arrested, but Canada has failed to act on those as well.

Surprisingly, Canada is ready to sacrifice its diplomatic relations with India for Khalistani terrorists. These terrorists often carry out large protests across Canada against India and have attacked Hindu temples across the country and even in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia in the past. The protest by Khalistani terrorists often create chaos and lead to a security situation. However, despite the fact, that Canada is harboring these declared terrorists for petty gains.

Canada’s determination to sever diplomatic ties over the issue of Khalistani terrorists reflects that Justin Trudeau’s policies are purely driven by vote-bank politics. In an effort to appease certain groups, Trudeau has once again targeted India. While Trudeau claims to prioritize public safety, the actions of his government tell a different story. Here’s a significant piece of evidence: On May 17, 2024, Zee News requested data from the Canadian government regarding the entry of Khalistani terrorists into Canada, and the Canadian government shared shocking data.

In 2021, 141 individuals with ties to Khalistani terrorism sought asylum in Canada, and 36 of them were granted entry. In 2022, the number of such applicants increased to 801, with 428 receiving approval. In 2023, 618 applications were submitted, explicitly stating support for Khalistani terrorism, and 364 individuals were allowed entry. By March 2024, 119 applications were submitted, and Canada approved the entry of 78 people with connections to Khalistani terrorism.

This data highlights Trudeau’s policies of appeasement, raising serious questions about the government’s commitment to public safety while allowing individuals with terrorist links into the country. Justin Trudeau is arguing for the security of Khalistani terrorists in his country but by sheltering Khalistani terrorists, he is posing a threat to India’s security. These statistics expose the double standards of the Canadian Prime Minister.

Trudeau has also failed to understand that the Khalistani terrorists and Lawrence Bishnoi gang members have deep connections with Pakistani terrorist organizations. Sooner or later, if Trudeau fails to put a leash on them and cooperate with India over New Delhi’s extradition requests, it is only going to create internal anarchy for Canada. Meanwhile, Canadians can only hope Trudeau will return to his senses in time, else, the day is not far when Canada will turn into another Pakistan by becoming a home to multiple terror organizations.

  • Nijjar Row: Recalled Indian Envoy To Canada Sanjay Verma Exposes Trudeau Government | India News

India-Canada Row: Amid the ongoing row over the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, recalled Indian envoy to Canada Sanjay Verma has made some explosive claims that reveal the Justin Trudeau government’s real intention. Verma alleged that Khalistani extremists and terrorists are ‘deep assets’ of Canada Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).

Speaking to Canada-based CTV News, Ambassador Verma accused the Canadian government of ‘encouraging’ Khalistani extremists, an allegation repeatedly made by the Ministry of External Affairs of India. “Khalistani extremists are being encouraged all the time. This is my allegation, I also know that some of these Khalistani extremists and terrorists are deep assets of CSIS, again I am not giving any evidence,” the Ambassador said. This can be seen as a taunt to PM Trudeau who has accused India of plotting attacks on Canadian soil but did not give any proof so far.

“We only want the Canadian regime of the day, the government of the day to understand my core concerns sincerely rather than being bedfellows with those who are trying to challenge Indian sovereignty and territorial integrity…What happens in India will be decided by Indian Citizens. These Khalistani extremists are not Indian citizens, they are Canadian citizens and no country should allow its citizens to challenge the sovereignty of another nation,” he added.

Ambassador Verma also rejected allegations leveled by the Canadian government against him. He explained that monitoring pro-Khalistani elements in Canada is a matter of national interest, and his team gathers information through open sources. “We read the newspapers, we read their statements since we understand Punjabi, so we read their social media posts and try to infer from there,” Verma clarified.

The Ambassador’s assertion comes days after Canada labeled the High Commissioner and five other Indian diplomats as “persons of interest” in the killing of NIA-designated terrorist Hardeep Nijjar, following which India issued a strong condemnation and recalled six diplomats including Verma.

The ties between India and Canada soured after Trudeau alleged in the Canadian Parliament last year that he had “credible allegations” of India’s hand in the killing of Nijjar. India has denied all the allegations, calling them “absurd” and “motivated” and has accused Canada of giving space to extremist and anti-India elements in their country. (With ANI inputs)

  • India Hits Back At Justin Trudeau Govt, Indicts Canada Border Police Official In Terror Case |

India-Canada Row: Justin Trudeau-led Canadian government has made false accusations against Indian diplomats by connecting them to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In response, India’s Ministry of External Affairs strongly rebuked Canada, stating that while the Trudeau government accuses India of using Lawrence Bishnoi’s name, it has shown leniency toward criminals associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The MEA said that India has sent 26 extradition requests to the Canada government, but no action has been taken. Furthermore, India has also appealed in 29 cases where wanted criminals should have been arrested, yet Canada has not acted on those either. In fact, one of the 26 extradition requests includes Canada’s border police – Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) – official Sandeep Singh Sidhu.

As per media reports, Sidhu, an employee of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and a member of the banned International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF), has been implicated in promoting terrorist activities in Punjab. Sidhu was allegedly in contact with Pakistan-based Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode and other ISI operatives to orchestrate the assassination of Balwinder Singh Sandhu in 2020. Sandhu, renowned for his battle against Khalistani militants during Punjab’s decade of insurgency, became a symbol of resistance to the separatist movement.

While Canada tried to put the blame on India for political gain, the rejection of New Delhi’s extradition requests clearly indicates that Justin Trudeau’s government made false accusations against Indian diplomats.

According to several experts, Trudeau’s compulsion to appease Khalistani terrorists for vote bank politics is the reason behind his baseless accusation that India was involved in the killing of terrorist Hardeep Nijjar. There are over seven lakh Sikhs residing in Canada and the majority of them are voters of the North American country. While Khalistanis may be celebrating Trudeau’s conflict with India, Canadian citizens are beginning to question the narrative surrounding Hardeep Nijjar.

A Canadian opposition leader has accused Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of using Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s murder to divert attention from other controversies and asked the government to posthumously take away the Khalistani militant’s citizenship to right the past administrative error. Maxime Bernier, the leader of the People’s Party of Canada, also said the Khalistani militant who is the central figure in the whole controversy was a foreign terrorist who was somehow granted citizenship in 2007, instead of deportation.

  • Amid India, Canada Row, Focus Shifts To Five Eyes Nations, G7 Members | Analysis |

With India and Canada locked in a diplomatic battle, both sides are keenly watching the developments taking place related to the row. While both countries have expelled their diplomats, the matter has become serious with Canada accusing India of ‘criminal activities’. On the other hand, India has accused Canada of supporting Khalistani terrorists. India has also alleged that Canada is levelling these allegations to gain political mileage by wooing the Khalistan supporters ahead of the crucial national elections slated for next year.

Addressing the media, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said that the Justin Trudeau government is discussing the issue with other nations and indicated that even sanctions against India are possible. On the other hand, India is sending a team to the United States with the latest update on the investigations related to the controversy.

With the diplomatic escalation in place, the focus will now be on the nations that are part of the Five Eyes and G7 nations. For the uninitiated, the Five Eyes (FVEY) nations are an intelligence alliance consisting of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. On the other hand, the G7 nations comprise the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan. India has been gracing the G7 as a guest nation.

With Canada already on a diplomatic offensive and reaching out to the United Kingdom and the United States, India has also started working to turn the tide in its favour. New Zeland, a member of the FVEY, has already said that the allegations, if proven true, would be very concerning.

India already shares warm relations with France, Italy, Japan and the United States. As New Zealand appears to have been siding with Canada, India will have to work with nations like the United Kingdom, Australia and Germany to set things straight and not let the Canadian narrative prevail. It’s time for the Modi government to expose Canada and its support to the anti-India elements in the guise of ‘freedom of speech/expression’.

  • ‘Need To Solve Real Issues’: Trudeau On His Brief Talk With PM Modi In Laos Amid Tensions Over Nijjar’s Death | world news

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit in Laos, nearly a year after Trudeau accused India of involvement in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian Khalistani separatist. This brief exchange took place during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit in Vientiane, Laos, on Thursday. According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC News), Trudeau described their interaction as a “brief exchange” but emphasized the need for ongoing work between the two nations.

“I won’t go into details about what we talked about, but what I’ve said many times is that the safety of Canadians and upholding the rule of law is one of the fundamental responsibilities of any Canadian government, and that’s what I’ ll stay focused on,” he told reporters during a press conference. Trudeau said that Canada must continue to strengthen its trade and people-to-people ties with India, “but there are real issues that we must address, and we will remain focused on those.”

The relationship between India and Canada has been under strain since last September when Trudeau alleged a “potential” involvement of Indian agents in Nijjar’s killing outside a gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, on June 18, 2023. India, which designated Nijjar as a terrorist. in 2020, vehemently rejected Trudeau’s claims, labeling them as “absurd” and “motivated.”

Tensions have been exacerbated by India’s stance that Canada is harboring pro-Khalistani elements that operate with impunity. Trudeau acknowledged this concern, saying, “We are seeing troubling patterns of violence affecting Indo-Canadians right across the country over the past number of months, and this is an issue that I can assure you that we will continue to be very, very seized with.”

Despite the tensions, Trudeau reaffirmed his position, insisting that national security agencies and law enforcement are “deeply engaged on this issue.” His comments follow statements from Canada’s Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, who, during a recent public inquiry into foreign interference, described relations with India as “tense” and “very difficult.” She noted that there remains a threat of further killings like Nijjar’s on Canadian soil and expressed her efforts to engage India in the investigation surrounding his death.

The last meeting between Modi and Trudeau took place on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Italy in June, marking their first interaction since the Nijjar allegations surfaced.

  • Hardeep Singh Nijjar Death Probe: Canada Police Arrest Members Of Alleged Indian Govt-Sanctioned Hit Squad | world news

Canadian police have arrested members of an alleged hit squad assigned by the Indian government to kill Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey, according to a Canadian media report on Friday. The relationship between India and Canada deteriorated significantly after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused Indian agents of “potential” involvement in Nijjar’s death in September of last year. Trudeau’s charges were rejected as “absurd” in New Delhi. According to sources close to the investigation, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reported that police are actively investigating potential links to three additional murders in Canada, including the shooting death of an 11-year-old boy in Edmonton.

Members of the hit squad played various roles on the day Nijjar was killed at the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, including shooters, drivers, and spotters, news agency PTI cited sources as saying. The men were apprehended Friday during police raids in at least two provinces.

According to sources, investigators identified the alleged hit squad members in Canada several months ago and have been monitoring them closely. Police are expected to announce the arrests and provide some details about their investigation later Friday, according to the report.

Nijjar, a 45-year-old Canadian citizen, was fatally shot on June 18 at his Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, shortly after evening prayers. India rejected Prime Minister Trudeau’s latest remarks on the killing of Nijjar on Thursday, saying they once again demonstrated Canada’s political space for separatism, extremism, and violence.

Trudeau spoke at a Khalsa Day event in Toronto on Sunday, which was attended by some pro-Khalistan supporters.

On the sidelines of the event, he told the media that the killing of Nijjar in British Columbia in June last year created a “problem” that he couldn’t ignore, in an apparent reference to his previous allegations of Indian agents’ involvement in the assassination.

India dismissed Prime Minister Trudeau’s most recent comments regarding the killing of Nijjar on Thursday, claiming they furthered the political space in Canada for violence, extremism, and separatism. Some pro-Khalistan supporters were present when Trudeau spoke on Sunday during a Khalsa Day celebration in Toronto.

In apparent reference to his earlier claims of Indian agents being involved in the assassination, he told the media on the fringes of the event that the death of Nijjar in British Columbia in June of last year created a “problem” that he couldn’t ignore. .

India requested that Ottawa reduce its diplomatic presence in the nation to maintain parity a few days after Trudeau’s accusations. Canada then removed 41 diplomats from India along with their families.

India has maintained that the space given to separatists, terrorists, and anti-India elements in Canada is still its “core issue” with that country. In response to Trudeau’s accusations from the previous year, India temporarily stopped issuing visas to citizens of Canada. A few weeks later, the visa services were once again offered.

  • Video Emerges Of Killing Of Khalistani Terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar In Canada | world news

A purported video has surfaced, asserting the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, an individual marked as a terrorist by India, Canada-based CBC News reported. As per CBC the footage depicts individuals armed with weapons shooting Nijjar, categorizing the incident as a 'contract killing.' Nijjar had been labeled a terrorist by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in 2020 and was reportedly shot outside a Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, on the evening of June 18, 2023. The presumed intentional killing of the president of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara. led to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleging the Indian government's participation. This accusation, denied by India, contributed in worsening of diplomatic ties between India and Canada.

    What's In The Video?

The footage captures Nijjar departing Gurdwara's parking lot in his gray Dodge Ram pickup truck. As he nears the exit, a white sedan obstructs his path, and two individuals quickly approach, firing at Nijjar. Subsequently, they fled in a silver Toyota Camry, according to CBC News. Two eyewitnesses, engaged in a soccer game in a nearby field at the time, shared that upon hearing the gunshots, they rushed towards the source and attempted to pursue the attackers.

Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) has released alleged video footage of the killing of India designated khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar by unknown armed men last year.

A witness, Bhupinderjit Singh Sidhu, told The Fifth State that he and his friend saw those two guys running, and then he started running towards the noise. He even told his friend to chase the shooter on foot while he was trying to help Nijjar. Sidhu further explained that he tried to shake him to see if Nijjar was breathing and found that he was unconscious. While Sidhu's friend Malkit Singh said that he chased the two men until they got into the Toyota Camry, he saw three others sitting in that car.

As per CBC News, the video has been verified by more than one source and was first obtained by The Fifth Estate. The attack that involved six men and two vehicles has been described as 'highly coordinated.'

    India-Canada Diplomatic Row

The killing of Nijjar also ignited a significant diplomatic dispute between India and Canada. In September of the previous year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of being involved in Nijjar's assassination on Canadian territory. India, however, dismissed these allegations as “absurd and motivated.”

Meanwhile, nearly nine months after the incident, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has not identified suspects or carried out any arrests in connection with Nijjar's death.

The Ministry of External Affairs stated that Canada has not provided any supporting evidence for its assertions regarding the killing.

  • Blame Trudeau for housing disaster, no longer immigrant scholars: Canadian Sikh lawmaker

Canadian MP Jagmeet Singh on Tuesday slammed High Minister Justin Trudeau, pronouncing that the blame for the housing disaster within the nation will have to be put on him and no longer on world scholars. “Justin Trudeau’s housing disaster has left scholars suffering to discover a house. As an alternative of blaming scholars, we should put in force fast answers,” Singh, the chief of Canada’s New Democratic Celebration, wrote on X.
