  • CG coal mine accident: Injured Laxman Markam dies during treatment, three still trapped, rescue continues

While extracting coal from the mine, five people were buried due to mudslide. Out of which two people were injured. One of them was in critical condition while the other had minor injuries.

Rescue of three of the five buried people is still going on. The rescue team of the district administration is present on the spot.

In which five people resident of Bamhani Kona had gone on bicycle to steal coal. Meanwhile, five people got buried due to sudden mudslide. Out of which Amit Saruta survived for 17 years. Whereas Laxman Markam had suffered a waist injury. Who was taken to the primary health center Hardi Bazar. Three villagers are still trapped in the mine. The police interrogated the owner of the showroom in the matter, in which he told that between 1.30 and 3.00 am on the night of 18th February, thieves broke the lock of the shutter of the showroom located in the house and took away silver and other jewellery. Whose price is around Rs 4 lakh 14 thousand. After this, the police started interrogating all the suspects and arrested all the accused within 72 hours. Police seized 11.5 kg silver and 1.400 kg artificial jewelery from the accused. Also Tata Indica car MP 66 C 2719 has been recovered.

    During interrogation, the accused told that on February 17, they had come to Bhaiyathan from Singrauli on the pretext of visiting Kudargarh with the intention of committing theft.     After going some distance, his car got punctured after which he reached Surajpur by car with the help of a tractor. After the construction of the vehicle, on the night of 18th February, the first attempt was made to steal a mantel and jewelery shop in Bospara in Ranai. But due to the presence of utensils in the shop, they left the place and then broke the lock of the shutter of Lalkuwar Jewelers and Metallize and stole it.

In this case, Congress had surrounded the police station. There they protested and demanded a judicial inquiry.

    Congress had alleged regarding the incident that the death was not due to burning but murder. After the Congress uproar, the police swung into action. At present, the police have arrested 14 people in this case on suspicion of murder and have sent them to judicial remand.

    Due to this he died

    The police had said that the death of Baiga tribals was due to fire. An ax and blood splatter were also found on the spot. On which investigation was being done. Forensic investigation 34 days after the incident revealed that all three had been murdered. While disclosing the murder, SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav said that the husband, wife and child were killed due to a land dispute. In which 14 people including a minor have been arrested.

The victim farmer has alleged that the Patwari has been harassing him for the last one year in the name of demarcation of the land and is also threatening him.

    According to the information, the land of farmer Ghasidas Vaishnav, resident of village Tanda, is Khasra No. 1281/1, 1316/4, 1316/6 respectively which are recorded in the revenue records. Which the farmer asked from Patwari Shashank Tripathi along with B-1, map and note sheet. But Patwari gave only B-1 on 7th February. When the farmer asked for the map, he was turned away saying that there was no server. After which when he went the next day to collect the maps and complete documents, the Patwari said that Khasra no. On 1316/6 I have made a deal with another. Register the said land by taking one lakh rupees.

    The farmer says that he does not know the said land nor is the Patwari telling him about it. Whereas 1281/1, 1316/4 measles land is in the knowledge of the farmer. Khasra no. Patwari is not giving information regarding land 1316/6 for almost 1 year. The farmer is being threatened by the Patwari for asking for land papers.

    The farmer alleges that the Patwari is talking about selling the land of Khasra No. 1316/6 himself. The Patwari says that he will not reveal the said land of measles and says that wherever there is a complaint to be made, do so. For this he cites political leaders.
