  • Chhattisgarh: Even today there is no road facility in the village, when someone falls ill, villagers take the patient on a Kanwad

Jashpur. Even after 75 years of independence, there are some villages in Jashpur district where ambulances are not able to reach due to lack of roads. People are still seen travelling long distances by using Kaanvad and Palki to reach the main road. The latest case has come from Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s home district Jashpur, where in Churilkona of Gram Panchayat Marangi, a seriously ill elderly patient was brought to the main road in a palanquin to take him to the hospital.

Due to lack of road facilities in this village, people still take the help of Kaanvad and Palki to take pregnant women or other patients to the main road. The Chhattisgarh government may make lakhs of claims of development in the tribal dominated area of Jashpur, but the ground reality tells something else. The villagers of this area are still yearning for basic facilities in their villages. There is neither health facility nor road in these villages. This is the reason that even today the life of tribals in the inner rural areas of Jashpur depends on a palanquin.

For the past many years, in Churilkona of Gram Panchayat Marangi, the villagers have been carrying sick patients and pregnant women to the health centers and hospitals on palanquins. During this, many patients have lost their lives due to not reaching the hospital on time. The villagers say that despite the demand for a long time, a road has not been built in their village. Due to this, they have not seen an ambulance in their village till date.

  • Baloda Bazar violence: BJP state president Kiran Singh Dev targeted Congress, said- Bhupesh government had banned CBI in the state, so with what face are they demanding investigation now

Raipur. Bharatiya Janata Party’s state president Kiran Singh Dev has questioned the Congress’ demand for a CBI inquiry into the Balodabazar arson case by making sharp sarcasm. He said that during its rule, the Bhupesh government, which was hell-bent on destroying the entire federal structure, had banned the CBI in Chhattisgarh, so with what face is the Congress demanding a CBI inquiry now?

BJP State President Kiran Singh Dev said that the Congress government in whose reign the dark chapter of gang rape of sisters was written on the day of Rakshabandhan, a tribal teacher had to undergo the torture of gang rape on Teachers’ Day, despite the presence of Priyanka Vadra, who used the slogan ‘I am a girl, I can fight’, in the state capital, the dignity of a young girl was gang raped and bled by the brutes under the nose of the police office near the capital’s Jayastha Chowk, a young girl was terrorised and paraded in the capital at gunpoint, and due to which the anti-women and anti-tribal character of the Bhupesh government was constantly exposed, the previous Bhupesh government of that Congress should have been ashamed, but the Congressmen are still not ashamed and now the Congressmen, restless with the heat of the investigation on their role in the conspiracy to spread caste hatred, are trying to mislead the state by shedding crocodile tears in the name of law and order.

BJP State President Kiran Singh Dev said that the echo of these cases was heard even in the Vidhan Sabha, but even after this the Bhupesh government remained dumb, deaf and blind. Congressmen should never forget that the graph of crimes kept on increasing during the rule of Bhupesh government. Due to serious crimes like robbery, theft, dacoity, burglary, open murder, molestation, rape, people were feeling insecure at every step. At that time the police was seen kneeling in front of the criminals, while the Chief Minister who used to talk big in public forums and the Vidhan Sabha was throwing slogans of Hamar Beti Hamar Abhiyan. BJP State President said that during the Congress rule, political protection was also given to the accused by pressurizing the police not to take action in rape cases, instead of useless political drama and baseless blabbering on the issue of law and order, Congress should play a constructive role for better law and order.
