Raipur. The ninth Governing Council meeting of Niti Aayog will be held in New Delhi on Saturday under ‘Developed India Vision 2047’. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will also attend this meeting. Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma will also be present with him. Chief Minister Sai will address the meeting at 2 pm and there will be a presentation on the government’s plans towards making Chhattisgarh a developed state by 2047. Chief Ministers of various states and governors of union territories will be present in this important meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

CM Sai will discuss the needs, challenges and development plans of Chhattisgarh in the meeting. 4 Union Ministers will count the merits of the Union Budget

BJP will organize a special dialogue program today to convey the key points of the Union Budget to the public. In this program, four Union Ministers will communicate with the public in various districts of Chhattisgarh and share the beneficial aspects of the budget. In which Union Labor and Employment Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will attend the program organized in the capital Raipur and will discuss the economic aspects of the budget. Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Tokhan Sahu will take charge in Durg district. Minister of State for Women and Child Development Savitri Thakur has been given the responsibility of Surguja. At the same time, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Jadhav Pratap Rao will hold an intellectual dialogue in Bilaspur.

Public problem resolution fortnight starts in the state from today

The public problem resolution fortnight will begin from today in 184 urban bodies of the state. From 27 July to 10 August, by organizing camps in every ward, the problems of the general public will be resolved on the spot as soon as possible. Camps will be organized in the wards of 8 zones of Raipur. The camps will be organized from 10 am to 3 pm. In which problems like tap connection, ration card, national family assistance, old age pension, social security pension, birth and death certificate, building construction permits, no objection certificate, name transfer and self-employment cases can be resolved. There will also be a facility for payment of taxes of taxpayers.

Public problem solving fortnightly camps will be organized in these wards of Raipur

The Municipal Corporation, Nagar Panchayat and Nagar Palika of the state will organize camps for the Public Problems Resolution Fortnight starting from today. Under this, public problem resolution camps will be organized in 8 different wards of Raipur today. The meeting of the District Level Road Safety Committee Bemetara was held on Thursday, in which during the review it was found that the highest number of injured and dead persons in road accidents occurring during the period from 1 January 2024 to 15 July 2024 have been of two-wheeler drivers. In these accidents, the death/serious injury of two-wheeler drivers has occurred due to not wearing helmets. In the meeting, the Collector, expressing concern over the increasing accidents, has made it mandatory for two-wheeler drivers to wear helmets while driving under Section 129 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988.

From the point of view of safety, the Collector has made it compulsory for all government officers/employees to wear helmets while driving two-wheelers to and from their offices. Strict action will be taken against the officer/employee violating the order under the Motor Vehicles Act and the rules made in this regard. This order will be effective immediately.

Importance and facilities of Mayali

It is worth mentioning that Mayali Nature Camp is located in Charaidand Baghicha State Highway in Kunkuri block of the district. The panoramic view of Belsonga Dam and Madheshwar Mountain, considered to be the highest Shivalinga of Asia, gives tourists an opportunity to spend hours. The forest department has also arranged tents for the convenience of tourists at this place. A large number of tourists gather in these tent houses to enjoy night stay with their families at the natural place full of greenery, on the banks of the dam. There is a lot of tourist activity here, especially on weekends.

Tourists have also been given the facility to enjoy boating in Mayali Nature Camp. For this, all the security arrangements have been made along with the guide. 10 crore approved for development

Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant said that the condition of the entire state is very bad. There is no medicine in the hospitals. There is no arrangement for testing in government hospitals. People from poor families are suffering more from malaria and diarrhea. The poor are being told to get tested from private labs. Many patients have died.

Congress MLA Raghavendra Singh said that in my district alone more than five hundred people are suffering from diarrhea. Four people have died. Two people have died due to malaria and dengue. Patients are being sent back saying that there are no beds in hospitals. The situation is very frightening.

Congress MLA Daleshwar Sahu said that five people of the Baiga caste have died of diarrhea in Bodla block of Kabirdham district. BJP MLA Janak Dhruv said that people have also died of malaria in Mainpur. People of the Kamar Bhuiyan tribe live in this area. This area has diamond mines. Poor people from rich land live in this area. They are being referred from government hospitals for treatment.

Congress MLA Bhupesh Baghel said that cases of people suffering from dengue, malaria and diarrhea are coming from all over the state. People are dying due to this. Asandi said that this issue will be discussed in the House tomorrow.

So far 437.7 mm average rainfall has been recorded in Chhattisgarh

According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, an average rainfall of 437.7 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2024. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2024 till today morning 24 July, the highest average rainfall of 1059.0 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 170.6 mm has been recorded in Surguja district.

Laxmikant Bansod, Balod. CCTV footage of a heart-wrenching accident has surfaced in Balod district of Chhattisgarh. Actually, today in Ganjpara of Balod, a drunk car driver hit a scooter rider coming from the front. The girl got injured in this accident. She was referred to Dhamtari after first aid at the district hospital. The video of this accident is going viral on social media.

On receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot. The police have arrested the car driver. According to the police and eyewitnesses, the car driver was extremely drunk and was not even able to tell his name. The police have registered a case and are taking further action.
