  • Who is protecting Sai Hospital after all? : Even after complaints and orders to shut down, the hospital is running openly, irregularities were found again in the investigation, the officer said this…

Tukeshwar Lodhi, Arang. The government, administration and the department keep a strict vigil on health related matters. Immediate action is taken on receiving complaints anywhere, but why such action has not been taken on Sai Hospital of Arang till now, this is a big question? The question is natural, because for operating any private hospital, permission has to be taken from the administration at the local level along with departmental permission. Permission to operate a hospital is granted only after fulfilling all the rules and conditions, but it is beyond comprehension that no action has been taken yet after so many irregularities and negligence in Sai Hospital of Arang. The orders of the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district himself are being flouted. It seems that Sai Hospital was getting protection from both the administration and the politicians. Well, better late than never, now after the administration tightens its reins, action is sure to be taken on Sai Hospital.

Due to the investigation of the hospitals in the area and the instructions for action, the looted patients and their families have started hoping for justice from the administration. Action can be taken against other hospitals and clinics operating illegally in the area including Arang at any time.
