Minister Devangan has demanded compensation and arrangements to be given to the people living on the land in view of the said public interest problem.

    Without giving details of the deal, Flipkart said the deal will be completed only after both parties receive regulatory and other custom approvals.

    According to media sources, “The primary round of funding will be used to double down on Quick Commerce besides investing in verticals like travel (Cleartrip) and Shopify.”

    Flipkart’s focus on Shopify comes at a time when rival Meesho is preparing to raise a $500-650 million round. Moneycontrol had reported about Meesho’s plans in a report in March.

    The whole matter is of Khairagarh – Dongargarh forest range, where fake payments of crores of rupees were made for line cutting, burning etc. from January 2021 to March 2021, which the forest officers embezzled crores of rupees of government money by mutual collusion. The then DFO, SDO of the Forest Department, along with the then Range Officers of Dongargarh, Chhuikhadan, Gandai and Bortalav are also accused of embezzling government money of Rs 1,35,85,314 by making fake certificates and tampering with documents. In the entire matter, a letter was sent to the Forest Division Officer Khairagarh by the Chief Forest Conservator Durg on 10 October 2022, asking for investigation action and mandatory submission of the investigation report within 15 days, but today it is going to be almost 2 years but no action has been taken by the Forest Division Officer Khairagarh.
