  • ‘Infiltrators Luring Our Daughters…’: Shah Attacks Hemant Soren At Jharkhand BJP Manifesto Launch |

Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party’s manifesto for the upcoming Jharkhand elections in Ranchi today. Shah arrived in the state capital last night. He introduced the ‘sankalp patra,’ which details 25 pledges symbolising 25 years since Jharkhand’s formation.

At the launch of the BJP’s manifesto in Jharkhand, Shah launched a scathing attack at Chief Minister Hemant Soren, saying that women and tribal communities are unsafe under the ruling JMM’s regime.

Amit Shah blamed Hemant Soren for ‘infiltrators surge in Jharkhand’, saying, “During Hemant Soren’s government, the tribals of Jharkhand are not safe. The number of tribals in Santhal Pargana is decreasing at an alarming rate. Infiltrators are coming here and luring our daughters into marrying them and occupying their land.

He further emphasised that the BJP is moving forward with the slogan “Roti, Beti, Maati” to ensure the security of Jharkhand’s pride and identity that the Hemant Soren-led government has failed to do.

The union minister credited former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for creating the identity of state and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for driving its growth. He claimed that Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s government, which took over five years ago, stalled many initiatives started by Modi’s administration. “Our former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee created Jharkhand,” Shah stated, “and Prime Minister Modi focused on developing it.”

The Congress party was not spared from Home Minister’s sharp attacks, “Whenever I speak about the ‘Sankalp Patra,’ it’s clear that the BJP stands apart from other political parties. The BJP is the only party in the country that truly delivers on its promises. Every time we’ve come to power, whether at the Centre or in the states, we’ve made good on our commitments,” Amit Shah added.

    Jharkhand BJP’s Poll Manifesto

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is elected to power in Jharkhand, it will generate 500,000 job opportunities, including 287,000 government positions. The party presented 25 resolutions to commemorate 25 years since the state’s establishment. Notably, the “Gogo Didi” scheme is set to provide women with a monthly allowance of ₹2,100.

“Our government will introduce UCC in Jharkhand but tribals will be kept out of its ambit. The JMM government is making false propaganda that UCC will impact tribal rights and culture, which is totally baseless as they will be kept out of its ambit,” Shah said in Ranchi.

The state’s 81-member Assembly election will be held in two phases, scheduled for November 13 and 20, with the vote counting and results set for November 23.

  • Jharkhand Assembly Polls: Amit Shah To Launch BJP Manifesto Ahead Of PM Modi’s Visit |

Jharkhand Assembly Elections: A day ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharkhand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) manifesto and address three rallies in the poll-bound state on Sunday. Union Minister Shah arrived in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi on Saturday night.

“Union Home Minister Amit Shah will release the “Sankalp Patra” for Jharkhand Assembly elections in Ranchi on Sunday. He will also address three rallies at Ghatshila, Barkatha, and Simaria Assembly constituencies during the day,” the BJP said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on November 4 and address two rallies. Prime Minister Modi’s visit will be followed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is scheduled to hold a public meeting in Jamshedpur on November 5.

Shah is likely to release 25 key points of the party’s manifesto to underline 25 years of Jharkhand’s formation and a 150-point document, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, BJP leaders said.

Amit Shah will release the party’s “Sankalp Patra,” said BJP’s Jharkhand election in-charge and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday.

Announcing that PM Modi and Home Minister Shah will launch the BJP’s Jharkhand campaign, Union Minister Chouhan made a call for a “double-engine” government in the state, claiming the “development work came to a standstill” under the Chief Minister Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-Congress government.

Jharkhand will vote in the Assembly polls across two phases on November 13 and November 20, with counting on November 23. The BJP will be looking to reverse its 2019 Assembly and 2024 Lok Sabha results.

The party fell from 37 Assembly seats in 2014 to just 25 in 2019, losing out in tribal-dominated seats in particular. In the recent Lok Sabha polls, the NDA fell from 11 seats to eight but lost all Scheduled Tribe-reserved seats to the JMM and Congress. Recently, the BJP has been raking up the issue of conversions of tribals, besides attacking the ruling JMM government’s record on development and corruption to swing the polls back in its favour.

With Amit Shah and PM Modi visiting the state in quick succession, the party’s campaign is likely to gain momentum. The JMM and the Congress, in the hopes of countering anti-incumbency, have been touting its welfare schemes, including the Maiyya Samman Yojna to grant women aged 18 to 50 Rs 1,000 per month in assistance.

  • ‘Showing No Interest In De-Escalation…’: Defense Expert Weighs In On India-Canada Diplomatic Fallout | world news

New Delhi: India and Canada are seeing a fresh wave of diplomatic fallout after Ottawa leveled allegations against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. According to MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, India summoned ‘a representative from the Canadian High Commission’ and formally expressed protest against the claims made by Canadian Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister David Morrison during a committee session. Amid the deteriorating relationship Defense Expert KP Fabian highlights how both Canada’s handling of the situation shows it has ‘no interest in de-escalation’ just now.

In an interview with news agency ANI, KP Fabian points out the pathways both nations chose to deliver their sentiments regarding the issue, he said, “You may note that the MEA spokesperson said Canadian High Commission representative. Conventionally, you summon the High Commission, the Ambassador or the CDA.” The defense expert said that the reference to summon a country’s representative holds significance in this case.

Then he went to draw the pattern Justin Trudeau-led Canadian government is following, Fabian said, “Let us assume, that Canada had good reason to conclude that there was some reason to believe in the likely involvement of the Home Minister of India. If that was the case, the correct thing would have been to talk to India through diplomatic channels rather than rush to the media.”

The defense expert remarked that this indicates “The current government of Canada is not looking for de-escalation and it is not a good idea.”

Defense Expert KP Fabian further criticized Canada’s approach to the ongoing diplomatic tensions with India, stating, “I do not see any sign of any interest in de-escalation.” He reiterated MEA’s claim that some Indian consular officials in Canada had been placed under audio-video surveillance, which he condemned as a breach of diplomatic protocol. “It is for Canada to deal with it diplomatically, not subject them to surveillance,” he said, adding that “Canada is acting contrary to diplomatic norms.”

  • India Summons Canadian Envoy Over ‘Baseless’ Claims Against Amit Shah | world news

India summoned a representative from the Canadian High Commission on Saturday, expressing strong objections to allegations made against Union Home Minister Amit Shah by Ottawa. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that India has strongly rejected the ‘absurd and baseless’ references made to Shah by Canadian Deputy Minister David Morrison during a committee session.

“We had summoned the representative of the Canadian High Commission yesterday, a diplomatic note was handed over in reference to the proceedings of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security in Ottawa on October 29, 2024,” Jaiswal said.

Reiterating Indian government’s view of Canada’s ‘behavioural pattern’ motivated by the ‘political agenda’, Jaiswal said, “The revelation that high Canadian officials deliberately leak unfounded insinuations to the international media as part of a conscious strategy to discredit India and influence other nations only. confirms the view that the government of India has long held about the current Canadian government’s political agenda and behavioral pattern.”

“Such irresponsible actions will have serious consequences for bilateral ties,” the MEA spokesperson said adding that the Government of India protests such allegations in the ‘strongest terms.’

As reported by Reuters, Canada claimed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah was involved in “plots to target Sikh separatists on Canadian soil.”

In a statement to a parliamentary panel, Canadian Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Morrison alleged that he told the Washington Post that “Shah was behind the plots.”

Meanwhile, the United States responded to Canada’s allegations against Amit Shah on Wednesday, describing them as ‘concerning.’ State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated, “The allegations made by the government of Canada are concerning, and we will continue to consult with the Canadian government about those allegations.”

  • Canada Deliberately Leaked ‘Intel’ Against India To US Media; Named Amit Shah Behind Hostile Activities | world news

With each passing day, new details emerge related to the India-Canada row showing that Justin Trudeau’s government is not only hell-bent on destroying its diplomatic relations with India but also deliberately led a vindictive campaign against India. In a latest expose, it came to light that two senior Canadian government officials deliberately leaked allegations/intel against India to the US media in a bid to get a morally upper hand. The leaked information also implicated Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah in allegedly directing hostile activities on Canadian soil.

Nathalie Drouin, Canada’s National Security and Intelligence Advisor, and David Morrison, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, disclosed the leaks to The Washington Post before the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) publicly accused India of involvement in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. and other incidents in Canada.

According to a Global and Mail report, Drouin disclosed the leak during a parliamentary panel session. Drouin said that the leak was part of a ‘communications strategy’ aimed at ensuring a prominent American outlet presented Canada’s viewpoint on the intensifying diplomatic dispute with India. Drouin claimed the strategy was seen by the Prime Minister’s Office but did not require authorization from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Since the leak happened, it’s clear that Trudeau did not make any attempt to stop it and had given his silent approval to the strategy.

The strategy involved allegations connecting Indian officials to the killing of Khalistani supporter Sukhdool Singh Gill, who was fatally shot in Winnipeg last year. This followed Justin Trudeau’s accusation that Indian officials were involved in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, though he provided no evidence to substantiate the claim.

  • India To Be Free Of Naxal Menace By 2026, Time For Final Assault: Amit Shah |

RAIPUR: India will be free from Left Wing Extremism (LWE) by March 2026 and a strong and ruthless strategy is required for the final assault against the menace, Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted on Saturday. The minister stated this during a press conference here after he along with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and senior central and police officers reviewed the Maoist issue in the state and adjoining areas.

Urging Naxals to shun violence, Shah announced that the Chhattisgarh government would announce a “new look” surrender policy in 1-2 months. “A strong and ruthless strategy is required for launching the last assault against Naxals,” he said.

The home minister said Naxal violence is a challenge to democracy and the menace has claimed about 17,000 lives in the country. He said there was a 53 per cent drop in Naxal incidents during 2014-24 as compared to 2004-14.

It is time to deal the final blow to the problem of Left Wing Extremism with a strong strategy, Shah said. The minister said the government has been working to fill the security vacuum in LWE-hit areas and the security personnel have undertaken operations along with development works.

He said that besides the security forces, central agencies like NIA and ED have also worked to dismantle Maoist finances. “We believe we will be able to free the country from Left Wing Extremism by March 2026,” Shah said.

Asked about the now-scrapped Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, the home minister said that the provision will not be restored ever.

On the probability of starting the delayed decadal census, Shah said it would be carried out at an appropriate time.

  • Post-BJP Loss, Amit Shah Brands Uddhav Thackeray ‘Aurangzeb Fan Club’ Leader |

Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday, labeling him as the head of the ‘Aurangzeb Fan Club.’ Shah also criticized NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, calling him the ‘sargana’ (ringleader) who has entrenched corruption in the country.

Shah accused Thackeray of consistently aligning with questionable figures, saying, “Who is the Aurangzeb fan club? Those who serve biryani to (26/11 terror attack convict) Kasab, those who seek pardon for Yakub Memon, those who give (controversial Islamic preacher) Zakir Naik a messenger of peace award and those who support the (banned Islamist outfit) PFI. Uddhav Thackeray should be ashamed of sitting with these people.”

He asserted that this ‘Aurangzeb fan club’ cannot secure this country. “Only the Bharatiya Janata Party can ensure the country’s safety. The BJP is the only party capable of securing Maharashtra,” Home Minister added.

This isn’t the first instance of Shah publicly criticizing the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief. During the Lok Sabha elections, he accused Thackeray of abandoning ideology in favor of power.

In a harsh speech, Shah also criticized Rahul Gandhi for his “arrogance” despite the Congress party’s repeated losses in the Lok Sabha elections.

This is Amit Shah’s first visit to Maharashtra following the BJP’s significant setback in the recent Lok Sabha elections, where the party’s seat count dropped from 23 in 2019 to just 9.

  • Amit Shah Chairs High-Level Meeting In Delhi To Review Manipur Security Situation |

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday chaired a high-level meeting in the national capital to review the security situation in Manipur.

Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Intelligence Bureau Chief Tapan Deka, Army Chief General Manoj Pande, Army Chief (Designate) Lt General Upendra Dwivedi, GoC Three Core HS Sahi, Security Advisor to Manipur Kuldiep Singh, Manipur Chief Secretary Vineet Joshi, Manipur DGP Rajiv Singh and Assam Rifles DG Pradeep Chandran Nair joined the meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs in North Block, Delhi.

The meeting comes a day after Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uike called on the Home Minister at his office and learned to be briefed about the situations in the north-eastern state.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs as fresh violence was reported in the northern state.

The northeastern state has been witnessing ethnic violence since May 3 last year following clashes during a rally organised by the All Tribals Students Union (ATSU) to protest against the demand for the inclusion of the Meitei community in the Scheduled Tribe category.

In fresh violence, several houses belonging to both Meitei and Kuki communities were burned by unknown miscreants in Kotlen following the murder of a person earlier this month, the Manipur Police said.

Around 600 people from Manipur’s Jiribam area are now taking shelter in Assam’s Cachar district following fresh violence reported in Manipur’s Jiribam area.

The Cachar district police have heightened security along the bordering areas.

  • Congress Surrenders 2024 Elections? BJP’s Shah, Nadda Criticises Exit Poll Boycott |

Congress’ Exit Poll Debate Boycott: The BJP has showered the Congress party with cutting remarks since the grand old party announced its decision to not participate in the exit poll debates shows. Home Minister Amit Shah took a dig at Rahul Gandhi saying that his party is in ‘denial mode’. He added that this shows that the opposition has conceded its defeat.

Affirming confidence in the exit polls Shah said that the exit poll will showcase the saffron party alliance getting the ‘400-paar’ remark. The Congress does not have the courage to take questions from the media, so it is dismissing the entire exit poll exercise as meaningless, he added.

He further said that the Congress campaigned through the polls claiming it would get a majority. However, it now realizes the reality and knows it faces a rout in the exit polls to be broadcast after the elections tomorrow.

    कांग्रेस को अपनी प्रचंड हार का पता चल गया है, तो अब किस मुँह से मीडिया और जनता को फेस करे? इसलिए, कांग्रेस एग्जिट पोल से भाग रही है।

On the other hand, BJP national president JP Nadda took to social media platform ‘X’ to denounce Congress’ exit poll boycott, he wrote, “Let no one in Phase 7 waste their vote on them.” Nadda said that the resolution of the ‘largest political party in the opposition’ to skip exit poll debates signifies a clear acknowledgment from the opposition party that it has surrendered the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

He questioned whether the Congress was suggesting that there existed a large conspiracy involving millions of voters, all aimed at ridiculing the party when the actual results were revealed on June 4th. He remarked that it didn’t suit India’s oldest political party to act like a child whose toy had been taken away. He further added that one would anticipate a certain level of maturity from the largest political party in the opposition.

Congress’s decision to not participate in Exit Polls, on the eve of Phase 7 polling, is an unequivocal confirmation that the Congress has conceded the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is not surprising, since the Congress usually opts out when it doesn’t expect results to go in its…

  • Shah’s ‘Badi Bottle’ Swipe At Kejriwal, Says Liquor Scam Will Follow Delhi CM Wherever He Will Go |

New Delhi: BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit hits out at Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Friday and said that people will only remember the ‘liquor scam’ whenever they see Kejriwal and the party during the campaigning in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections.

“I think wherever he’ll go for the poll campaign, the people will remember the liquor scam, even in Punjab. People will also see big bottles in front of them when they see Kejriwal,” Shah said.

Shah also counters Kejriwal for saying he “won’t have to go to jail if you vote for me” during his roadshow in Punjab’s Amritsar. Shah said that there is no bigger contempt of the Supreme Court than this.

“There can be no bigger contempt than this. Will the Supreme Court make decisions on crime based on (electoral) victory or defeat? I am not saying it; Kejriwal ji is saying it,” he said.

During an interview with ANI, Amit Shah responded to BJP’s plan B in an ongoing Lok Sabha Elections. he said that PM Modi will come to power again with a full majority and there is no need for plan B.

“Plan B needs to be made only when there is less than a 60% chance for Plan A (to succeed). I am certain that PM Modi will come to power with a thumping majority…” Shah said.

Meanwhile, BJP leader also countered Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao’s remarks on the North-South divide on Friday. Shah said that the South as a separate country was highly objectable

Reacting to the North-South divide Shah said, “This country can never be divided again. A senior Congress leader had said that divide North India and South India, and Congress did not distance itself from this statement. The people of the country should think about the agenda of Congress.”

While expressing his confidence, Shah asserted that BJP will perform better in south India in the ongoing Lok Sabha Polls. He said, “The BJP is going to become the largest party in five southern states – Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.”
