In the year 2020, Yuzvendra Chahal, who tied the knot in the year 2020, is living separately from June 2022. The couple filed a petition for divorce by mutual consent on 5 February 2025. However, the Family Court initially refused to waive six months compulsory cooling-off period, citing partial compliance with the conditions of divorce agreement, including incomplete payment of alimony. After which both of them filed a joint petition in the Bombay High Court. After which the High Court directed the Family Court to pronounce the verdict on the divorce petition by Thursday, in which the six-month cooling-off period was waived.
