Time was short, so it was built as a modular stadium. The International Cricket Council (ICC) had leased land to build a stadium in Eisenhower Park in New York. Since the World Cup is over now, this stadium is being converted into a park.

How much did it cost?
ICC spent 30 million dollars i.e. about 248 crore rupees to build the modular stadium. This was the first modular stadium, which was built very beautifully.
