A powerful car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening has resulted in a tragic loss of ten lives, with many more individuals injured. The blast occurred at a busy traffic point, creating panic and chaos in the densely populated Old Delhi region. Eyewitnesses reported a deafening sound and thick smoke billowing from the wreckage, which also caused nearby vehicles to catch fire and windows to shatter.

Gautam Gambhir, a celebrated cricketer and head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team, shared his condolences on X. He expressed prayers for the families of those who perished and for the swift recovery of the injured.
